Paradis Imprial is an incredibly nuanced and complex cognac, inspired by the cognac blended for the Imperial Court of Russia in 1818. The Dowager Empress of Russia commissioned the Maisons first master blender, Jean Fillioux, to create an exceptional cognac for her son, Tsar Alexander I. In 2011, Yann Fillioux, the current and seventh-generation master blender, painstakingly re-created this unique and incomparable blend using tasting notes from the original, crafting a cognac of elegance and extreme subtlety."The exquisite cognac gets its name from the iconic Paradis cellar, where cognac Maisons store and seal their oldest eaux-de-vie. Paradis Imprial is a tribute to these remarkable spirits that harbor so much history. The eaux-de-vie in the blend mature for anywhere between 30 and 130 years in older barrels to soften the effect of the wood on the cognacs color and flavor.Bottled in a distinctive crystal decanter designed by renowned French designer Stphanie Balini. Shaped in the classic Hennessy style, with a more slender silhouette, the vial is inspired by the elegance of the Russian Empress.
