All Points West Kill Van Kull Single Pot Still Rum
Situated in Newark, New Jersey, the All Points West Distillery was founded by Gil Spaier and takes its inspiration from the numerous breweries that were located in the city. None of the 26 that were quenching the thirst of countless immigrants by 1920 remain today. Named after the railroad that connected the ports of New Jersey with the rest of America, the distillery crafts a range of whiskey, vodka, and gin under the brand names All Points West Malt and Grain Pot Still Whiskey, Bone Black Vodka, and Cathouse Gin all right there in the melting pot of different cultures that is the Ironbound neighborhood. They also offer tours, tastings, cocktails, and bottles on the premises on the weekends.Kill Van Kull is the newest addition to their lineup that follows in the footsteps of their whiskey. Its a pot-still rum that is aged in ex-bourbon barrels. Kill Van Kull is a waterway that connects New York and Newark bays. The first North Americas rum distillery was founded there in 1664, producing rum from molasses that were richer in sugar and plant matter, which made for a richer, more flavorful spirit. All Points West aimed to recreate the style with richer molasses and sugarcane, crafting the Kill Van Kull expression that is distilled and aged at their base of operations in Ironbound.Grab a bottle today!

Amrut Old Port Deluxe Rum
According to Indian mythology, when Gods and Rakshasas, or demons, churned the oceans inside Mount Meru (a mythical mountain thought to be the center of physical, metaphysical and spiritual worlds), a golden pot containing the nectar of life sprang out of the mountain. The nectar was called "Amrut," which literally translates into "immortality."Amrut Distillery traces its history back to 1948 when, just one year after India declared its independence from Great Britain, Radhakrishna Jagdale began manufacturing rum and brandy, which he supplied to army canteens throughout India. After his death in 1976, the mantle was passed to his son, Neelakanta Rao Jagdale. When the younger Jagdale became Chairman of Amrut Distillery, he began experimenting with more innovative whiskies.Amrut Old Port Deluxe Rum is distilled, aged, and bottled at Amruts facility in Bangalore, India using 100 percent Indian cane sugar. During maturation in a combination of ex-whisky and new oak barrels, the incredibly intense Indian sun causes the rum and oak to mingle often. In addition, the heat also leads to much greater rates of evaporation (approximately 12 percent of maturing whisky evaporates each year in India, compared to just two percent in Scotland). As a result, Amrut Old Port Deluxe Rum has a bright copper color and aromas of pistachios, peanut brittle and vanilla ice cream. The palate is dry and slightly fruity, with additional notes of tobacco and butterscotch. The rums long finish is accented with ginger, nutmeg and caramel.Amrut Old Port Deluxe Rum was awarded 91 points and the Excellent, Highly Recommended designation at the 2014 Ultimate Spirits Challenge. As he continued to expand, Dr. Siegart, along with his younger brother and his son, moved the House of Angostura to Port of Spain, Trinidad in 1876 and began producing rum.Angostura 1824 12 Year Old Hand Casked Premium Rum pays homage to the lively spirit of Dr. Siegart. Balcones Texas Rum
Handcrafted in small batches, Balcones Texas Single Malt Whisky is made from 100 percent malted Golden Promise barley. Golden Promise is an early-maturing spring barley that has a depth of flavor ideal for single malts. While it was popular in Scotland for many years, it gave way to cheaper barely that was higher in yield but lower in quality. After mashing the malted barley, they slowly ferment it at cool temperatures for seven days. Their fermentation process, which takes nearly twice as long as most other distilleries and is done at much lower temperatures, ultimately produces a richer, smoother whisky. After distillation, they age the whisky using a unique barreling process. "The main difference between Balcones and other single malts," they explain, "is the barreling. The cooperage we use and the care we put into blending and reblending the casks defines a lot of what makes our malt what it is. All of the barrels used are bespoke casks made from fully yard-aged oak with custom toast and char profiles."While most single malts age in a single, large cask of a certain variety their entire lives (for Scotch, this is typically a used bourbon cask), they blend and rebarrel each cuve of Balcones Texas Single Malt through several barrels of different sizes and oak profiles in order to create uniquely round and complex flavors. While a batch of Balcones Single Malt may begin aging in toasted American oak barrels, it may also age in French oak and European oak barrels before being bottled by hand.Round and full of flavor, this rum is double distilled in hand-built copper pot stills from the finest molasses available. The result of their unique cooperage program (consisting of a variety of oak species and multiple toast profiles) is a bold and robust rum with rich deep fruit flavors, and smooth, warm notes of vanilla and caramel. A rum for both the rum purist and the committed whisky drinker.Pick up your bottle today!

Chairmans Reserve The Forgotten Casks Rum
The Barnard family settled in St. Lucia in the 1930s, founding their rum distillery, producing handcrafted spirits distilled from molasses crafted from sugar sourced from the islands massive sugar plantations. After the rise of the European sugar beet drove the local sugar industry to extinction, the rum trade was adversely affected. The only remaining distilleries were consolidated into St. Lucia Distillers, based out of the picturesque Roseau Valley. The last sugar plantation was closed in the 1960s forcing rum producers to source their molasses from Guyana. The Forgotten Casks is an extra-aged limited edition rum inspired by the original forgotten casks of Chairmans Reserve that survived St. Lucia Distillers devastating fire on May 2, 2007.The cellar master was forced to find storage for the rum barrels, placing them in unusual places throughout the facility during the rehabilitation of the distillery. As a result, these casks were misplaced. The forgotten casks contained rum too mature for the original Chairmans Reserve blend. It was decided to release the rum as an extra aged Chairmans Reserve, which received worldwide acclaim. St. Lucia Distillers continues to hold back select Chairmans Reserve for extra aging to offer a limited release of the Chairmans Forgotten Casks (producer). This mature blend is a mixture of Coffey and pot still rums, aged between six and eleven years, separately by batch and by type of still in ex-Bourbon barrels. The spirit is then blended and rested in oak vats for an additional six months to finish. This exquisite rum received 93 Points, Excellent Highly Recommend, at the 2017 Ultimate Spirits Challenge, a Gold medal at the 2017 International Review of Spirits and was a Finalist at the 2017 Ultimate Spirits Challenge.Pick up your bottle today!
