Glendalough Poitin Mountain Strength
Glendalough is an idyllic little town in eastern Ireland. Gaelic for "valley of two lakes," it was said to have been founded by a man named Saint Cemgen also known as Saint Kevin. The Glendalough Distillery, Irelands first new craft distillery, was set up by five friends from Wicklow and Dublin with a deep passion for reviving the heritage of craft distilling in Ireland. The 18th and 19th centuries there were the glory days of the Irish whiskey industry, with over 200 licensed distilleries in all of Ireland. There were also countless unlicensed distilleries at the time, producing diverse styles of poitn, whiskey, gin and even absinthe. But through a series of unfortunate events, the Irish Whiskey Industry dried to a trickle in the 1970s. Glendalough Distillery is part of a revival of this Irish heritage. Their philosophy is "to make innovative spirits while staying true to the tradition and heritage of our ancestors." Glendalough started out making poitn the traditional Irish distillate made in small pot stills. From there they seamlessly transitioned to whiskey production, and most recently, seasonal, wild botanical gins. All of their production is handmade.Glendalough Mountain Strength poitn (pronounced "po-tcheen") is a stronger cask strength version of their signature poitn, Gaelic for "pot stilled whiskey," the original Irish "water of life." This centuries old tradition is distilled from sugar beets and malted barley, before being subtly aged in virgin oak casks.Pick up your bottle today!

Kings County Moonshine
Situated along the banks of the East River in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, Kings County Distillery is New York Citys oldest operating whiskey distillery and the first distillery in New York City since Prohibition. There, the distillerys founders Colin Spoelman and David Haskell hand-craft moonshine and chocolate whiskey.A typewriter that Spoelman and Haskell found on a sidewalk in Williamsburg is used to make the labels that adorn their clear, flask-shaped bottles, while a hairdryer (made by Revlon) is used to affix each bottle seal. Handwritten scrawls on a chalkboard keep track of different batches, and mesh laundry bags are used as strainers.Kings County Moonshine Corn Whiskey is made from a mash of 100 percent organic, cracked corn that Spoelman and Haskell source from the Finger Lakes region in upstate New York. It has an aroma of sweet corn that is complemented by notes of pepper and warm vanilla.Perfect for Valentines Day, Kings County Chocolate Whiskey is made by steeping Kings County Moonshine in artisan cacao husks sourced from the Mast Brothers Chocolate Factory in Brooklyn. The chocolate and moonshine rest together for just over a month, giving the moonshine a deep mahogany color and an aroma of dark chocolate. "Its good for someone who either likes whiskey or chocolate which includes most people, I guess," says Spoelman. "Theres not a whole lot else like it out there." The initial flavors of sweet corn are nicely balanced by the subtle notes of rich, bitter chocolate and give way to a smooth and slightly sweet finish."We make enough to supply some of Brooklyn, some of Manhattan and thats about it, "Spoelman says. After visiting their distillery, we bamboozled them into sharing some of their juice with the rest of the country. Youre welcome.

Saint Luna Charcoal Filtered Moonshine
David Suk was searching for his next entrepreneurial venture and got the idea of creating a modern, premium take on moonshine at a Holiday family get-together. "It dawned on me. If I could make a craft moonshine, something truly elevated and cocktail friendly, I could challenge what people typically think of moonshine and ultimately create a new category of moonshine. I was after an elevated experience with moonshine, which wasnt something you typically thought of. It would be the first, ultra-premium moonshine," says Suk of his decision. It was a year or two later that Suk met Scott Smith, a chemist and moonshine maker. They drove to Smiths friends farm in rural Georgia where they had a still. "What we first pull off the still is about 180 proof and it is smooth, layered with exceptional flavor and I instantly thought, wow this is it. looked at Scott and said, hey, do you want to build a modern moonshine brand?" Thus they partnered up to create Saint Luna, an elegant, sophisticated, yet approachable moonshine utilizing Smiths recipe one that he had been perfecting for 15 years.Together they teamed up with Southern Star Distilling Co. in Statesville, NC to start producing the spirit. Two years later they launched Saint Luna Charcoal Filtered Moonshine, which started bringing in awards rapidly. "Were a curious contradiction, a premium moonshine, both complex and even, handcrafted in small batches from locally sourced molasses and rye, with the purest of water, then charcoal filtered to remove any impurities," says Suk of the final product. Equally at home with various cocktails and a perfectly smooth sipper, they knew they had something, versatile, complex, and special on their hands. Get your bottle of this unique moonshine today!

Southwind Moonshine
Southwind corn whiskey moonshine began when two artists, Maxime Berthou and Mark Polep, took an old paddle steamer down the Mississippi River exactly 1712 miles of it. After two years of preparation the month-and-a-half journey took the pair through 10 states during the record-breaking 2019 floods. The 21-foot steamboat mostly putted along happily at up to 4 miles per hour (3.5 knots), though not without incident while the flooding provided a lot of driftwood for fuel, it also caused the rudder to break 3 times. The wood-fired engine took lots of hard work, with the pair working in 2-hour shifts. The duo had set out with several goals in mind: The adventure would serve as a basis for a book and film, but more importantly for us they would gather several samples of corn along the way from at least 10 different producers and create a moonshine once the journey was completed. But they couldnt just go about creating the moonshine the ordinary way. Once they moored in New Orleans, the boat was transformed into a floating distillery, producing moonshine from the 42 corn varieties they gathered from 10 different states. With the help of Big Easys own Seven Three Distilling the pair created Southwind a moonshine that tells the story of the Mississippi River and their epic undertaking.Grab one of these unique bottles today!
