DeKuyper Royal Distillers was founded in 1695 by Petrus De Kuyper in the Netherlands. While the company was manufacturing barrels at first, they eventually expanded into distilling, their distillery becoming the no. 1 Dutch gin (also known as jenever) producer. It wasnt until 1911 that they built a new distillery to produce cordials or liqueurs.
