Midleton Barry Crockett Legacy Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey
In the early 19th century, a series of buildings in southeast Ireland that were being used to mill wool were sold to the Irish government for 1,250. Within two decades, the government sold the buildings to Lord Midleton, who set about to convert the mill into a distillery. Today, Midleton Distillery marries together time-honored, traditional distillation techniques with modern equipment to produce some of the finest whiskey in all of Ireland.Midleton Barry Crockett Legacy Irish Whiskey is a limited-edition, single pot still Irish whiskey made in homage to the the distillerys eponymous master distiller. Crockett, who is a second-generation master distiller, was literally born at Midleton Distillery (his father was the master distiller of Midleton at the time, and his family lived at the distillery). At the age of 17, Crockett began apprenticing under the tutelage of his father, and eventually succeeded him in 1981. For nearly five decades, Crockett has stewarded the development of new spirits at Midleton Distillery.Midleton Barry Crockett Legacy Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey is made from a mash of malted and unmalted barley that is triple-distilled through a copper-pot still and then matured for up to 22 years in a combination of seasoned American oak casks and casks that were previously used to mature bourbon. It has an aroma of lime, green berries, apples and poached pears. Notes of vanilla, charred oak and cherries dominate the palate, and are accented by touches of spice and light pepper. The finish is well-balanced and slowly fades into hints of lime, orange and cinnamon. The whiskey earned a score of 92 points from Whisky Advocate, and earned the Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2013. In addition, it earned a score of 99 points, and was rated the best Irish whiskey, at the Ultimate Spirits Challenge in 2012.Pick up this limited-edition Irish whiskey today!

Midleton Very Rare Dair Ghaelach Knockrath Forest
Midleton Very Rare is a brand under which the New Midleton Distillery from the East Cork town of Midleton produces its premium Irish whiskeys. The New Midleton Distillery started its operations in 1975, consolidating in one place the production of Irish Distillers Group, which was founded in 1966 through the merger of John Power and Son, John Jameson and Son and the Cork Distilleries Company (which owned the Old Midleton distillery). The distillery is best known for making the famous Jameson Whiskey, but also produces other well-known brands, such as Powers, Paddy and Redbreast. Midleton Very Rare was created in 1984 by Master Distiller Barry Crockett, who guided the New Midleton Distillery on its journey of creating the finest whiskeys in the world for over 30 years. Upon retiring in 2013, he passed the baton to his mentee Brian Nation, who continued to create special and unique whiskey across the Midleton Very Rare portfolio. Midleton Dair Ghaelach is a series of the distillerys Irish pot still whiskeys matured in traditional bourbon barrels, and finished in Irish oak. Midleton Dair Ghaelach was the first whiskey in over 100 years to be matured in native Irish oak, and Knockrath Forest is the third release in the series. Irish oak barrels were not used before due to the lack of sustainable supply, however following the recent strides in the reforestation of Ireland, the distillers are now able to responsibly procure sustainable native oak for maturation. Midleton Very Rare Dair Ghaelach Knockrath Forest is made from single pot still Irish whiskeys aged 15 to 28 years, which were matured in traditional Bourbon barrels. What makes it truly unique, are additional 2 years of finishing in virgin Irish oak casks made from trees from the Knockrath Estate. This whiskey is bottled at cask strength of 56.5 percent ABV. Within two decades, the government sold the buildings to Lord Midleton, who set about to convert the mill into a distillery. Today, Midleton Distillery marries together time-honored, traditional distillation techniques with modern equipment to produce some of the finest whiskey in all of Ireland.Midleton Very Rare Irish Whiskey represents an annual bottling of the most exceptional casks of whiskey maturing at Midleton Distillery. The label was introduced in 1984, when Midleton Master Distiller Barry Crockett hand-selected a few dozen casks of whiskey from the distillerys rickhouses and blended them together. As a guarantee of quality and authenticity, Crockett personally signed each bottle by hand. Since then, the distillery has released a new vintage of Midleton Very Rare Irish Whiskey each year.Midleton Very Rare Irish Whiskey is a marriage of fewer than 100 casks of whiskey, each of which was personally selected by Brian Nation (Crocketts successor) out of the nearly one million casks of whiskey currently maturing at the distillery. The whiskey triple-distilled and aged in lightly charred, ex-bourbon barrels for up to 25 years has an aroma of subtle honey, sandalwood and dried apricots. The aroma gives way to notes of creamy vanilla, butterscotch and summer fruits (particularly strawberries and peaches) on the palate, and ultimately leads to a long and slightly sweet finish with a touch of cinnamon.Midleton Very Rare Irish Whiskey earned the Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, and earned a score of 96-100 points from Wine Enthusiast. In addition, it was named the Irish Whiskey of the Year by Whisky Advocate in December 2014.Pick up this limited-edition Irish whiskey today!

Milagro Select Barrel Reserve Anejo Tequila
In 1997, Mexico was suffering from a massive agave shortage caused by erwinia caratavora, a bacteria that was souring the traditionally citrusy fruit of the agave plant. While officials estimated that more than 20 percent of the countrys agave crop was infected with the bacteria, the actual percentage was believed to be much higher. That same year, Daniel Schneeweiss and Moises Guindi natives of Mexico City decided to launch Milagro Tequila. As a result of the tequila shortage, the price of agave soared from seven cents per kilo, to over $1.40 per kilo. "That almost put us out of business," says Schneeweiss, reflecting on the launch of his company over 15 years ago. "We were fortunate to find Juan de La Torre,"he continues, whose estate in the Highlands region of Mexico was so isolated that it remained unaffected by the bacteria. He had "enough agave for us to produce tequila for three years," says Schneeweiss. "With that agave, he bought equity in the company, and we are still partners today. All the agave that we use is estate-grown by Juan."Milagro Tequila is made from 100 percent blue agave, which are matured for eight to twelve years before being harvested by expert jimadors. Once the agave are harvested, the hearts of the agave, or pias, are removed using a small knife. The pias are then transported to the distillery and roasted in small, clay ovens for 36 hours. The clay ovens contribute a slightly smoky flavor to the agave, and, compared to the stainless steel autoclaves used by most larger tequila distillers, create a more robust and sweeter tequila. After the pias have been roasted, they are crushed and fermented before being distilled three times twice through a copper-pot still and then a third time through a column still. While most tequilas are distilled only twice, the third distillation ensures an agave-forward flavor profile.Milagro Select Barrel Reserve Aejo Tequila is aged for three years in French white oak barrels, technically making it an extra-aejo tequila. It has a golden, amber color, along with an aroma of caramel and chocolate. The notes of caramel, tobacco and butterscotch open up to hints of sweet agave, pineapple and citrus, before leading to a dry finish. Milagro Select Barrel Reserve Aejo Tequila also earned a score of 91 points from the Ultimate Spirits Challenge in 2012 and the title "Best in Class" at the International Wine and Spirits Competition 2011.It has been distilled and matured for the requisite period of time, the tequila is bottled in a hand-blown glass decanter (the exquisite decanter has the negative-space of an agave plant growing inside the bottle)."We started Milagro with no employees," says Schneeweiss, "only Moy and me. Our focus was never on the money; it was about the quality of the product. Our vision has always been about the agave, and Milagro is agave in its maximum expression."Try an expressive tequila today!

Milano Green Vodka
Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication. These famous words, spoken by Leonardo da Vinci, embody the Milano Green founders pursuit of a minimally processed, unfiltered, ingredient-driven vodka. They accomplished this goal by collaborating with a family of viticulturists and the watchful eye of Mastro Distillatore Rossano Boffa that supervises the nuances with an all-female team, who have been producing fine Italian wine and spumante for over 175 years.Marrying the finest natural ingredients with an innovative distillation process, Milano Green Vodka uses a mash of wheat from the glacier-fed Piedmontese plains and pristine water sourced from the Italian Alps. The vodka is distilled using a double-vacuum method, reducing the atmospheric pressure in order to distill at lower temperatures, working to retain the spirits flavor and maintain a small carbon footprint. Unfiltered to retain the salts and minerals of Alpine water, Milano Green Vodka has been tested to be 100 percent gluten free.Deeply committed to environmentally-friendly manufacturing, Milano Green Vodka has a zero waste policy with regards to production practices. In addition to using recycled materials for packaging and promotions, there are no chemicals or paints used in the making of the bottle. Instead, crushed glass is mixed with minerals (which adds color) before fusing the result onto the original glass bottle.Milano Green Vodka has a neutral nose, with only mild medicinal notes. The palate has a slight sweetness with hints of breakfast cereal and licorice, as well as a silky viscosity leading to a hint of black pepper and allspice on the finish. This vodka is equally suited to easy drinking on its own or serving as the base for a cocktail. This vodka received a 91 point rating at the New York Ultimate Spirits Challenge and won the Gold Medal at the 2012 San Francisco Spirits Competition. Ming River Sichuan Baijiu
The Luzhou Laojiao Distillery is situated in the lush river town of Luzhou, in southwestern Chinas Sichuan Province. The winemaking traditions of Luzhou spans almost two thousand years, with luminaries such as Guo Huaiyu the creator of big qu baijiu in the fourteenth century and Shi Jingzhang inventor of pit fermentation baijiu in the fifteenth century laying the foundations of this special spirit. The Luzhou distillery is famed for its 1,000-year pit, 10,000-year mash technique involving optimizing the fermentation process that develops flavor over time. In the 1950s Luzhou Laojiao trail-blazed the first modern guide to baijiu production,Luzhou Laojiao Big Qu Spirits, inspiring distillers across China.Baijiu (pronouncedbye-jyo) means white spirits in Mandarin. The secret ingredient in baijiu is qu (pronounced chew), a naturally harvested culture of airborne yeasts and other microorganisms. It makes the taste and scent of every baijiu highly specific to the place it was created. Qu also allows Chinese distillers to ferment and distill grains in a solid state, which creates incredible complexity of flavor. There nearly a dozen distinctive regional styles of baijiu, but there are four major styles: strong aroma, light aroma, sauce aroma, and rice aroma.A balanced and complex spirit, Ming River is the original Sichuan baijiu. Each batch starts with locally harvested red sorghum grain and the purest waters from protected wells. It is fermented in earthen pits with naturally harvested yeast cultures native to Luzhou that impart the distinctive terroir of Sichuan style baijiu. After two months, the mash is unearthed and distilled in small batches using a traditional Chinese pot still. The spirits age for up to two years before the master blender balances them into Ming Rivers distinctive flavor. The result is an uncompromisingly bold spirit with notes of pineapple and anise with a lingering mellow finish. Perfect neat alongside spicy cuisine or in a cocktail, this baijiu evokes Sichuan with each sip.Pick up your bottle today!

Mizu Shochu Saga Barley
Since the time of the Ashikaga shogunate in the 16th century, tiny villages situated along the mountains of Kyushu in southwest Japan have been producing shochu. Shochu is a unique Japanese spirit, typically distilled from barley or potatoes (as compared to sake, which is a type of rice wine), and has a signature earthy flavor. While shochu has been distilled in Japan for over four hundred years, it is only in the past decade that shochu has experienced a resurgence in 2003, Japanese production of shochu surpassed production of sake for the first time.New to market, Mizu Shochu is distilled from two-row barley, which is sown in the early spring and harvested in the summer. After local farmers in Saga, Japan harvest the barley, it is polished, washed, and steamed before tojis (master distillers) Wada-san and Okoba-san begin fermenting the grains. In order to begin fermentation, the tojis add steamed rice that is coated with black koji microbes to the mash, along with a touch of yeast and pure water sourced from Black Hair Mountain. The koji microbes, which release a gentle citric acid during fermentation, impart a distinctive aroma and flavor to the shochu, and bring out the subtle sweetness of the barley.Following fermentation, Mizu Shochu is distilled in a single pass (traditional shochu is only distilled once) and, after being left to rest for at least six months, brought to 70 proof using water from Black Hair Mountain. Much like American law with respect to bourbon, Japanese law prohibits adding any sugars, sweeteners or flavors that affect the taste of shochu once it has been distilled. The higher alcohol content of Mizu reflects its status as a "genshu-style" shochu shochu that allows the tojis to show off their skill and craftsmanship using the finest ingredients available to them, resulting in rare, artisanal shochu a cut above typical shochu. As a result, Mizu Shochu has a robust aroma of cantaloupe and freshly cut grass that is complemented by hints of bananas, raisins and brown sugar. The flavor is smooth and slightly creamy, with mellow notes of fresh, slightly sweet grains that lead to touches of caramel and vanilla on the finish.Mizu Shochu is also known by its full name, Mizunomai (), which means "dance of the beautiful crane."The shorter form of Mizu is a play on the Japanese word for water, which is evoked by the smoothness and purity of Mizu Shochu.Mizu Shochu is available exclusively through Caskers for a limited period of time. Monkey 47 Schwarzwald Dry Gin (1L)
After serving honorably in World War II, Commander Montgomery "Monty" Collins of the Royal Air Force was discharged in 1951 and moved to the Northern Black Forest where he opened a country guest home nicknamed "The Wild Monkey." The Black Forest area is notorious for producing some of the worlds finest fruit liqueurs, and so Collins eventually began experimenting with distillation. In time, he perfected the recipe for his very own gin, which became the signature spirit served at The Wild Monkey until the 1970s."When I heard about a special gin that contains classical spices and also ingredients from the Black Forest such as spruce shoots and lingonberries, I left my job and began doing research with the aim of bringing this gin back to life," says Alexander Stein, who resurrected Collins gin. This spice was brought by Arab merchants to Europe in the 11th century, where it was mistaken for the dried blossoms of nutmeg trees. The mace is ground and added to the traditional macerate used to make Monkey 47. Due to the nutmeg seeds high concentration of essential oils, it requires delicate alchemy to make each bottle as harmonious as possible. Monkey In Paradise Vodka
Distilled from the highest-grade American corn, Monkey In Paradise Vodka is seven times distilled, seven times carbon-filtered to produce a pure, smooth, drinkable vodka (this is six times more than other vodkas).Monkey In Paradise Vodka is produced by demineralizing water with a proprietary five ppm reverse osmosis system. This extreme level of purification takes 11 gallons of water to produce one "paradise pure" gallon of water for the distillation process. After this meticulous process, the spirit is filtered in copper stills, reducing sulfites naturally to deliver a purer, cleaner taste. Finally, the vodka is charcoal filtered three times, allowing the alcohol and water to age and rest together at four different proof levels. Because the more you filter and allow for "age settling," the smoother the final product. This premium vodka is exceptionally elegant. Distilled and bottled in Palm Beach Florida using only premium ingredients, including non GMO corn. Monkey In Paradise Vodka was unanimously awarded to be the highest rated vodka in the World in 2017.Pick up your bottle today!

Monkey Shoulder Blended Malt Scotch Whisky
Centuries ago, distilleries throughout Scotland employed maltmen, whose job it was to hand-turn malted barley using a wooden shovel known as a schiel at the distillerys malthouse. These maltmen worked countless hours and by the end of their shifts, were often suffering from shoulder injuries, which made them feel as if there were a monkey on their shoulders. Fortunately, working conditions have improved such that the injury, which was colloquially referred to as Monkey Shoulder, has been consigned to the past.Monkey Shoulder Blended Malt Scotch Whisky pays tribute to the maltmen who suffered to produce fine whisky, and their dedication to quality and hand-craftsmanship. Monkey Shoulder Scotch is a vatting of three unique single malt whiskies produced at three different Speyside distilleries: Glenfiddich, Balvenie and Kininvie.Situated in the glen of the River Fiddich, the eponymous Glenfiddich Distillery was founded in 1886 by William Grant. Glenfiddich Single Malt Whisky is made from specially-sourced barley, which is ground into a rough flour and mashed using Robbie Dhu springwater. The grains are then fermented in tanks made of Douglas Fir. Following fermentation, the wash is twice-distilled through Glenfiddichs copper-pot stills (the distillery employs a craftsman onsite to tend to the stills, which are unique in shape and size) before the heart of the distillate is cut and prepared for aging.Balvenie Single Malt Whisky is made using barley that the distillery grows on its 1,000 acre farm, known as Balvenie Mains. After the barley has been harvested, it is malted on the distillerys traditional malting floor with spring water sourced from the rolling Speyside hills situated above the distillery. Then, the grains are mashed and fermented, before being twice distilled through two of Balvenies 11 copper-pot stills.Situated adjacent to the Balvenie Distillery, Kininvie Distillery is one of the youngest distilleries in Scotland, having begun production of Scotch Whisky only 23 years ago. As a result of its location and shared ownership, much of the equipment used to produce Kininvie Single Malt Whisky is housed within the Balvenie Distillery complex, although the equipment is maintained and operated independently. To date, Kininvie Distillery has only released two single malt whiskies, and most of the whisky it produces is used for blends such as Monkey Shoulder. After Malt Master Brian Kinsman sources single malt whisky from each of these three distilleries, he allows them to mature in first-fill Bourbon casks that are made and seasoned by independent coopers. After the whisky has matured (rumor is that the average age of the whisky is about six to eight years old), Kinsman and his assistant taste each cask individually, and select 27 casks for blending. "The key is definitely the flavor," he says. Once the casks have been blended together, the whiskies are matured together until Kinsman decides that the whisky is ready for bottling. Monkey Shoulder Blended Malt Scotch Whisky earned the Gold Medal at the 2011 International Wine and Spirits Competition and a Master Distinction at the 2011 Scotch Whisky Masters Competition.Pick up a unique blend of Scotch today!

Montelobos Mezcal Espadin
Montelobos was founded in 2011 by Ivn Saldaa, a molecular plant biologist and distiller who used to work with two mezcal-producing families in Oaxaca and Puebla, Mexico. Partnered with Mezcalero Don Abel Lopez, they produce mezcal the artisanal way, abiding tradition and with sustainability in mind. They only use cultivated agaves that are grown organically, without any pesticides or herbicides. They also compost most of their waste and have improved the design of their palenque to minimize environmental impact. Montelobos or "Wolf Mountain" are partnered with the Wolf Conservation Center, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to the conservation of wolves.Montelobos Mezcal Espadin is crafted from organically cultivated Espadin agaves in Santiago Matatlan, Oaxaca. The agaves are cooked in underground stone-pit ovens using local firewood, then milled using a traditional mule-pulled tahona mill. The wild fermentation takes place in open-air pine wood vats, before the collected liquid is distilled using wood-fired copper-pot stills. The resulting spirit achieves a perfect balance of the 4 mezcal flavors: green agave, cooked agave, smoke, and wild fermentation.Grab a bottle today!

Mortlach 12 Year "The Wee Witchie" Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Situated in the heart of the Speyside region of Scotland, Dufftown is known as the Whisky Capital of the World. The village, which produces more malt whisky than any other town in Scotland, is home to seven distilleries, the oldest of which is Mortlach Distillery.Mortlach Distillery was founded in 1823 by James Findlater, together with his friends Alexander Gordon and James Macintosh. In 1831, however, Findlater sold the distillery to John Robertson for the paltry sum of 270. In 1837, it was sold again to John and James Grant, who dismantled the distilling equipment and shuttered the doors to the distillery. For the next two decades, the building was used first as a brewery, and then, rather curiously, a church. In 1851, however, the distillery began producing whisky once more. Even at the time, it was an impressive distillery, according to the Wine and Spirits Trade Record. The distillery had two still-houses: "in one there are three old-fashioned stillsin the other there are three larger stills, installed in 1897. The distillery also had four gigantic malt floors, and the largest mash tun in the district. In 1964, the distillery was largely rebuilt and today, houses a unique configuration of six stills. The stills three wash stills and three spirit stills are each different shapes and sizes (one still is nicknamed Wee Witchie because it is shaped like a witchs cap), and arent paired together. This unusual configuration, together with the partial triple distillation method used at Mortlach Distillery, produces a whisky that is full-bodied and meaty. This 12 Year "The Wee Witchie" single malt is part of the new core range for Mortlach (replacing their Rare Old, Special Strength, 18 Year and 25 Year). Mortlach whiskies have a signature meaty flavor profile, achieved through a 2.81 times distillation process coined "The Way. Aged in a combination of in ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks this Mortlach beast is bottled at 43.4 percent ABV.Pick up your bottle today!
