Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare Port Ellen Blended Scotch Whisky
Upon his fathers death in 1820, a young grocer named Johnnie Walker invested his 417 inheritance into a grocery and spirits shop on High Street in Scotland. While Walker himself was a teetotaller, he sold a popular single malt whisky under the name Walkers Kilmarnock Whisky. When Walker retired from the store in the 1850s, whisky sales represented just 8 percent of the stores business. In 1857, Alexander Walker Johnnie Walkers eldest son inherited the store and began improving its selection of single malt Scotch whiskies. Also, Alexander had apprenticed with a tea merchant in Glasgow and there, had learned the art of blending tea. Under his stewardship, the House of Walker began blending whisky and bottling it in an iconic, square bottle adorned with a slanted label. By the time Alexander Walker retired in the 1880s, whisky sales had represented over 95 percent of the stores business. This Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare is the second edition in this series of special limited edition releases. The blend is comprised of grain whiskies from long defunct ghost Scotch whisky distilleries, highlighting one of the mostexalted shuttered distilleries on IslayPort Ellen. The other whiskies in the blend include Caledonian and Carsebridge, harmonizing Port Ellens peaty and iodine character. Five additional rare malts (Mortlach, Dailuaine, Cragganmore, Blair Athol, and Oban) are married into the blend yielding a well-rounded mouthfeel and finish. Each of these whiskies are aged at least 20 years. Overseen by Johnnie Walker Master Blender, Dr. Jim Beverage, Port Ellen lies at the heart of this incredible expression, imparting a delicious peatiness and a dose of brine. The result is a whisky with layers of creamy vanilla sweetness and rolling waves of waxy citrus, rich malt and tropical fruit notes - all perfectly balanced by the distinctive maritime smokiness of Port Ellen that lingers in, the long and warming finish.Pick up your bottle today!

Johnny Drum Private Stock Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey
Following the defeat of the British at the Battle of Yorktown during the American Revolutionary War in 1781, the territory west of the Appalachian mountains became known as Kentucky County. At the time, the territory was considered part of Virginia, and was overseen by a military governor named John J. Bowman. In order to encourage westward expansion, Virginia issued pioneers who agreed to settle in Kentucky County "corn writs," which granted the pioneers 60 acres of land if they agreed to settle in Kentucky and start farming corn. Within a decade, some 2,000 farmers had settled in Kentucky and were growing corn in an effort to validate their claim to the land.Following the end of the American Civil War, Johnny Drum returned to his native state of Kentucky. Like many pioneers who had settled the state before him, Drum purchased a farm among the rolling bluegrass fields of Kentucky, and staked his claim to a beautiful, limestone spring. After harvesting more corn than he could sell, Drum distilled the excess grains into bourbon. Today, Johnny Drum Private Stock Kentucky Bourbon celebrates the passion and legacy of Johnny Drum.Johnny Drum Private Stock Kentucky Bourbon has an aroma of spicy cinnamon, ginger, oak and caramel. Notes of roasted peanuts, warm cinnamon and vanilla dominate the palate, and are complemented by touches of oak and honey. The finish is smooth yet bold, with lingering spices nestled against hints of citrus and chocolate.Johnny Drum Private Stock earned the Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, and was called one of the "best hidden gem whiskies on the market, "by Drink Spirits.Pick up a bottle today!

Jose Cuervo Reserva de La Familia
In 1758 Jos Antonio de Cuervo y Valds was given a plot of land by King Fernand VI to plant agave for producing tequila. By 1795, Jos Mara Guadalupe de Cuervo, son of Jos Antonio de Cuervo y Valds, began selling the very first Vino Mezcal de Tequila de Jos Cuervo after receiving the first official charter from the King of Spain to produce tequila commercially. And by 1852 the first barrels of Jos Cuervo reached the United States in California. The agave used in Jos Cuervo is maturated for seven years in the fields that surround the Tequila Volcano. After the agave plants are harvested their cores, which contain the most flavorful portions are extracted and sent to the La Rojea distillery, the oldest operating distillery in Latin America. The agave cores are roasted, grinded and smashed with the resulting extract placed into tanks to ferment. After fermentation, the resulting liquid is aged for a minimum of three years in new French and American oak barrels. Jos Cuervo Reserva de La Familia has a nose full of oak and fruit with a hint of cinnamon. Jura 10 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky
The Isle of Jura Distillery was founded in 1963. It is the only distillery on the Isle of Jura, which dates back to 1810 as being the first licensed distillery on Jura. The distillery sources its water from Loch aBhaile-Mhargaidh, and is owned by independent bottlers Whyte and Mackay. Situated sixty miles off the western coast of the Scottish mainland, the Isle of Jura is one of the most sparsely populated islands in Scotland it boasts 5,000 red deer, 200 human beings, two churches and just one distillery. The Jura Distillery was founded in 1810 by Laird Archibald Campbell, and sits alongside the Corryvreckan Whirlpool. Nearly a century after it was opened, the distillery was dismantled due to a land dispute, and remained closed until 1963. Today, the Jura Distillery represents a fusion of modern distillation techniques with traditional craftsmanship, and remains one of the most remote and isolated distilleries on the planet.Jura Single Malt Scotch Whisky is made from Scottish barley, which is milled at the distillery and mashed with hot water in order to release its natural sugars. Once the barley has been mashed, it is fermented and then distilled through Juras 28-foot tall copper-pot stills.Jura malt is aged in bourbon casks, with some whiskies being finished in sherry. Their whiskies are really said to come of age around 16 years, this is when the whisky really starts to shine. This is also the age statement of the distillerys official flagship bottling. Despite the fact that the water flows through a great deal of peat, the whisky itself doesnt have much phenol character. This is in stark contrast to most of its contemporaries across the way. Isle of Juras 10 Year Old has a light, warm gold coloring. This single malt has a fruity nose with notes of pepper and dark chocolate. The palate is medium-bodied with flavors of nectarines, ginger and coffee. The finish is warming, with sherried notes and the characteristic briny taste of Jura whiskies. This 10YO is an easy drinker, a great introductory whisky.Pick up a bottle today!

Kah Tequila Anejo
Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a Mexican holiday with roots in Mayan and Aztec culture. Instead of mourning and sadness, it celebrates the lives of the departed, seeing death as a natural part of life. KAH (ancient Mayan for "life") Tequila honors Mexico and its people, channeling the spirit of this joyful holiday and its famous imagery. The unique packaging is inspired by calaveras traditional colorfully-decorated sugar skulls that symbolize death and rebirth. Produced at the modern distillery Fabrica de Tequilas Finos, which was established in 2000 in the town of Tequila, Jalisco, its a proper traditional tequila that comes in the standard 3 formats: Blanco, Reposado, and Aejo. Made with 100 percent blue agaves from the highlands and lowlands of Jalisco, the agaves are picked at optimal ripeness, having matured for 6 to 7 years. They are then cooked for 9.5 hours, milled, and filtered. After the juice has fermented for 42 hours, it is double-distilled and brought to proof with reverse-osmosis and charcoal-filtered water from a nearby volcano spring.Aged around 18 months in American oak casks with a special toast, the Aejo expression is the oldest in KAHs lineup of tequila. Its elaborate bottle pays tribute to Nicaraguan Day of the Dead traditions with elaborate shrine-building and gift-giving and spending a night at the graves of the departed. The delicious tequila has won several awards over the years, including a Silver Medal at the "The Tequila and Mezcal Masters".Grab this unique bottle today!
