Elijah Craig Single Barrel 18 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Following the defeat of the British at the Battle of Yorktown during the American Revolutionary War, the territory west of the Appalachian mountains became known as Kentucky County. At the time, the territory was considered part of Virginia and was overseen by a military governor named John J. Bowman. In order to encourage westward expansion, Virginia issued pioneers who agreed to settle in Kentucky County "corn writs," which granted the pioneers 60 acres of land if they agreed to settle in Kentucky and start farming corn. One year after the defeat of the British, a Baptist minister named Elijah Craig emigrated to Fayette County (today, a part of the State of Kentucky) and purchased 1,000 acres of land in a town named Lebanon. In 1789, Craig built a distillery on his farm and is credited with being the first person to mature bourbon in charred, oak casks, earning him the title "Father of Bourbon Whiskey."Elijah Craig Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey pays homage to Craig and his unique legacy. The bourbon is bottled from the marriage of fewer than 100 casks of maturing bourbon, each of which is rested in a Kentucky rickhouse for a minimum of a dozen years. The bourbon has an aroma of honey, sweet corn, vanilla, and brown sugar. The aroma gives way to notes of roasted nuts, creamy vanilla, molasses and tropical fruits on the palate, that are well-balanced by hints of dry oak and cinnamon. The finish is long and sweet and ends with a warming touch. This unique 18-Year-Old bourbon showcases Elijah Craigs Master Distillers expertise, bottled solely from the contents of one barrel, this expression of bourbon-making craftsmanship is bold and robust. Bourbon for the whiskey connoisseur, this bottle has received countless awards for its smooth yet complex flavor, including 3 Double Gold Medals at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.Pick up your bottle today!

FEW American Straight Whiskey
FEW Spirits, based in the growing Chicago suburb of Evanston, Illinois, is an American grain-to-glass distillery founded in 2011. The distillery produces a range of award-winning whiskeys and gins, using ingredients sourced as locally as possible. The first inspiration behind this craft distillery are the pre-Prohibition times, or the golden age of spirits, and the 1893 Worlds Fair, which took place in Chicago. The second inspiration comes from the Prohibition itself. When trying to come up with a name and looking for a word that could imply something rare, small, the FEW Spirits founder and distiller Paul Hletko realized FEW are also the initials of Frances Elizabeth Willard, a prominent late-19th century figure in the Womens Christian Temperance Union, whose activities culminated in the Prohibition that started in 1920. Even though the Prohibition was repealed in 1933, Evanston remained a dry community several decades later, and you could not buy liquor there until 1970s. Hletko had his work cut out for him, and had to push for changes in the local law before he could start. FEW Spirits was the first distillery to open in Evanston in modern times, and in less than a decade of operation, its American whiskeys with a bold Chicago-style twist and other innovative products have already won a long line of awards and acclaims. The distillery produces its handcrafted, small-batch spirits in two copper pot stills, using the first still to produce the whiskey and strip low wines for gin production, and a separate still for gin production to prevent the gin flavors from mixing with their whiskey. FEW American Straight Whiskey is made by blending hand-selected FEW Bourbon and FEW Rye whiskeys that create the backbone of the expression, and adding the distillerys rich yet balanced experimental cherrywood-smoked malt whiskey. This whiskey comes with no age statement, and is bottled at 46.5 percent ABV.Grab your bottle today!

FEW Single Malt Whisky
Hidden down a dark alley in a former chop shop, skilled men are quietly violating one of Evanstons founding principles: Prohibition. In the 19th century, Frances Elizabeth Willard was elected President of the Chicago Womans Christian Temperance Union and embarked on a decade-long crusade to prohibit alcohol in the United States. Willard worked tirelessly; as President of the WCTU, she traveled roughly 30,000 miles per year and gave an average of 400 lectures each year for an entire decadeAs a result, Evanston remained a dry town for over 100 years. It wasnt until Paul Hletko, owner and master distiller at FEW Spirits, began lobbying the town that the antiquated laws were lifted. "Im the vice president of the PTA at my kids school and I coach their soccer and T-ball teams," Hletko says. "People around town know me and what Im about, which is handy when youre looking to change 100 years of laws."Today, Hletko and his team of master distillers distill FEW Single Malt Whisky in the heart of Evanston, Illinois.FEW Single Malt Whisky is crafted exclusively from malted barley. Unlike traditional single malts, however, the whisky is crafted using both cherry wood smoked barley (this imparts a sweet, slightly smoky flavor) and unsmoked two-row barley. After distillation, the single malt is matured in custom-made oak barrels from Minnesota. "The cooper I eventually chose to make our barrels won 24 out of 25 categories at a spirits competition I visited," Hletko says. "Im no math major, but thats the cooper I want to make our barrels."As a result, the single malt has an aroma of fudge, vanilla and salted caramel. Notes of turmeric, cherry, espresso beans, honey and graham crackers dominate the palate, and lead to a finish with hints of apples, oak, smoke, cinnamon and caramel.Pick up a bottle today!

After aging the bourbon, Hletko and his team of distillers fill and label each bottle by hand.FEW Straight Bourbon Whiskey earned a Gold Medal from the Beverage Testing Institute and a Silver Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2012.As one of the leading figures of the Temperance movement, its unlikely that Frances Elizabeth Willard would approve of Hletkos success or the name he chose for his distillery, which is sometimes written as F.E.W. Fistful of Bourbon
Born in December 1839, William Grant became a cattle herder at the age of 7 to supplement his familys income. As a teenager, Grant apprenticed as a cobbler and a clerk, and in 1866, he joined Mortlach Distillery as a bookkeeper. For the next two decades, Grant managed the affairs at the distillery, while secretly learning the art of distillation. In 1886, he resigned from his position as distillery manager and, together with his seven sons, two daughters, and one sporadically working stonemason, built his family distillery in Scotland.William Grant and Sons is now a behemoth that is among the largest producers of Scotch in the world and is home to several massively successful labels. Yet it is still family-owned, run by Grants descendants, and independent. Glenfiddich, Balvenie, Girvan Grain, Tullamore, and several other distilleries operate under them. With the release of Fistful of Bourbon in 2018, William Grant and Sons entered into the world of bourbon whiskey. Its a blend of 5 straight bourbons, aged 2 years and up in new charred oak barrels, before being bottled at 90 proof. Forty Creek Barrel Select Whisky
Prior to crafting the first batch of Forty Creek Whisky in 1992, John Hall had spent the previous two decades as a winemaker and industry expert. "They say if you find a job you love, you will never work a day in your life," he says. "Forty Creek Whisky is that job for me."Forty Creek Double Barrel Reserve Whisky is crafted from rye, corn and barley grains. Once the grains arrive at the distillery, Hall distills each grain separately through traditional copper pot stills. Then, the whisky crafted from each of the three grains is matured individually in American oak barrels. This process brings out the fruitiness and spiciness of the rye, the nuttiness of the barley and the heartiness of the corn. After the three whiskies have matured, Hall marries them together in casks that were previously used to mature sherry. During this secondary maturation process, the ex-sherry barrels contribute notes of dark fruits, toffee and berries to the whisky. As a result, Forty Creek Barrel Select has an aroma of stone fruits, vanilla, caramel and roasted walnuts. Notes of toffee, white pepper and malt spices dominate the palate, and lead to a balanced and smooth finish. Forty Creek Double Barrel Reserve Whisky earned the Gold Medal at the Beverage Testing Institute Competition and the Wizards of Whisky Awards in 2014. In addition, the distillery utilizes five different proprietary yeast cultures. "Most distilleries use one mashbill on a regular basis and one proprietary yeast culture," says Jim Rutledge, the master distiller at Four Roses Distillery. "Four Roses uses five yeast cultures in conjunction with the two mashbills. Hence, we have ten unique bourbon recipes." The yeast cultures, which were developed specifically for Four Roses Distillery, allow Rutledge to vary the flavor and mouthfeel of the bourbon "Basic flavor characteristics generated by the yeasts include a light and delicate fruitiness, spicy characters, robust fruitiness, herbal essence and floral essence with a hint of fruitiness," says Rutledge.Once each of the bourbons has been distilled, the bourbons are matured individually in new, American oak casks, which are allowed to rest in a single-story warehouse just south of Louisville. Game of Thrones The Nights Watch Oban Bay Reserve
After moving with their widowed mother to the small port city of Oban (situated in northwest Scotland), John and Hugh Stevenson took jobs building and repairing boats at the citys boatyard, a trade they had learned from their late father. In the 1790s, the brothers left their boat-making jobs and founded a brewery in the city. In 1794, they converted their brewery into Oban Distillery, one of the oldest and most prestigious distilleries in Scotland. For nearly a century, Oban Distillery remained in the hands of the Stevenson family. In 1883, however, J. Walter Higgin purchased the distillery and began renovations. While Higgin renovated both the distillerys equipment and structure, he did so piecemeal in order to ensure that the distillery was able to meet the uninterrupted demand for its whisky. Today, over 100 years later, Oban Distillery remains substantially the same as it was after Higgins refurbishment.Oban single malt whiskies are made using 100 percent barley, which is malted to the distillerys exact specifications. After the barley is malted, it is partially germinated and gently dried over a peat kiln, giving it a slightly smoky, malty flavor profile. Then, the malted barley is mashed and fermented before being twice-distilled through Obans lantern-shaped copper-pot stills. The stills are among the smallest in Scotland, and limit Obans production to just 650,000 liters of whisky annually. In honor of the final season of the TV series, Game of Thrones, HBO has teamed up with spirits giant DIAGEO to release a limited-edition series of single malt scotch whiskies, inspired by the critically-acclaimed show. Each rare scotch represents one of the iconic Houses of Westeros, including the Nights Watch. An authentic taste of the Seven Kingdoms, this iconic Game of Thrones collectible whisky is distilled by Oban Distillery. The Oban distillery sits beneath the steep cliff that overlooks the bay in the frontier between the west Highlands and the Islands of Scotland, separating land and sea, just as Castle Black, home of The Nights Watch, sits between Westeros and the lands beyond The Wall. The liquids richness is balanced with a woody, spicy dryness that The Nights Watch could enjoy even on the coldest of nights.Pick up your bottle today!

Garrison Brothers Boot Flask Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Situated on a rolling ranch in Texas Hill Country, Garrison Brothers Distillery was founded in 2005. The distillery is the oldest legal whiskey distillery in Texas. "Like everything in the Lone Star State, our dreams were big from the start," says Dan Garrison, the distillerys owner. "We didnt want to make just any bourbon, we wanted to make the best bourbon ever made."Garrison Brothers Texas Straight Bourbon Whiskey is made from organic corn, wheat and barley. "We get about 30,000 pounds of corn, wheat and barley delivered a month," says Garrison. "The wheat comes from our own fields we have 65 acres of wheat on the other side of the property." In addition, the corn is harvested from local fields in Texas while the barley is sourced from the Pacific Northwest.Once the grains arrive at the distillery, they are milled and mashed before being fermented for four days. Following fermentation, the wash is distilled through an antique, copper pot still nicknamed the copper cowgirl. "She was made as an experimental still," says Garrison, "for Wild Turkey Distillery." After the bourbon has been distilled, it is aged in charred, American oak barrels. "The char softens the wood, and allows the bourbon to expand into the wood. When it gets hot and it gets hot out here in Texas that bourbon will soak deep into the wood and extract the chemical compounds that are in there. As a result of this aging process, the bourbon has a rich, deep aroma of butterscotch, nutmeg, vanilla and coconut. Notes of caramelized oranges and fruit dominate the palate, along with touches of melted butter, whipped cream and oak. The finish is smooth, with touches of toffee, milk chocolate and espresso. The bourbon earned the Silver Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2013. This Garrison Brothers Boot Flask is the same smooth, award-winning Garrison Bros bourbon, created for portability and ergonomically designed to slide into your back pocketor fit inside your favorite pair of boots.Pick up your bottle today!

George Dickel 11 Year Old Bottled in Bond Tennessee Whisky
Forty years after the signing of the Declaration of Independence, George A. Dickel was born in a rural town in eastern Tennessee. By 1867, Dickel was an established Nashville merchant but moved his family to the city of Tullahoma (situated in south-central Tennessee), where he purchased the Cascade Hollow Distillery. After working tirelessly at the distillery, Dickel declared that his spirits were of equal quality to the finest scotch, and followed in the Scottish tradition of spelling whisky without an "e".While George A. Dickel Distillery was forced to close its doors as a result of Prohibition, it was rebuilt in 1958 by Master Distiller Ralph Dupps. To ensure the whiskys authenticity, Dupps obtained the original manuscripts in which Dickel detailed his unique recipe and distillation processes. Today, Master Blender and distiller Nicole Austin carries on the tradition of excellence that has made Dickel whisky a symbol of quality for over a century.George Dickels 2020 Bottled in Bond release is an 11-year-old whisky that was distilled in 2008. While a bit younger, it follows in the footsteps of the bold and balanced 13-year-old that has received several "Whisky of the Year" awards. Crafted with a mash bill of 84 percent corn, 8 percent rye, and 8 percent malted barley, it employs the same charcoal-filtration as its predecessor. Bottled at 100 proof, it retains the nuttiness, sweetness, and fruity notes with an overall profile that is big and complex yet approachable.Grab your bottle today!
