George Dickel Barrel Select Tennessee Whisky
Forty years after the signing of the Declaration of Independence, George A. Dickel was born in a rural town in eastern Tennessee. By 1867, Dickel was an established Nashville merchant but moved his family to the city of Tullahoma (situated in south-central Tennessee), where he purchased the Cascade Hollow Distillery. After working tirelessly at the distillery, Dickel declared that his spirits were of equal quality to the finest scotch, and followed in the Scottish tradition of spelling whisky without an "e."While George A. Dickel Distillery was forced to close its doors as a result of Prohibition, it was rebuilt in 1958 by Master Distiller Ralph Dupps. To ensure the whiskys authenticity, Dupps obtained the original manuscripts in which Dickel detailed his unique recipe and distillation processes. Today, Master Distiller John Lunn carries on the tradition of excellence that has made Dickel whisky a symbol of quality for over a century.George Dickel Barrel Select Tennessee Whisky is crafted from a mash of 84 percent corn, 8 percent rye and 8 percent malted barley, which is then fermented and double-distilled, first through a column still and later a copper pot still. Following distillation, the whisky is distilled and matured for 10-12 years in barrels that have been charred with a #2 char on the heads and a #4 char on the staves (the degree of charring within a barrel is measured on a scale of one to four, with a #1 char referring to casks that have been lightly toasted, and a #4 char referring to casks that have been charred so heavily that the interior resembles an alligator hide). Once the whisky has matured, Master Distiller John Lunn then personally selects 10 barrels to chill and mellow through sugar maple charcoal, which results in a single, very small batch of handcrafted Tennessee whisky.George Dickel Barrel Select Tennessee Whisky has an aroma of oak, candied nuts and vanilla, all underpinned by a light wood smoke. The palate is filled with caramel, toasted marshmallows, cloves, faint citrus and even mint, and leads to a long, complex finish containing more oak, corn and cinnamon. The whisky has earned multiple gold medals from the Beverage Testing Institute, and received a score of 93 points at the 2013 Ultimate Spirits Challenge, where it was rated the #2 Tennessee whiskey. Today, Master Distiller John Lunn carries on the tradition of excellence that has made Dickel whisky a symbol of quality for over a century.George Dickel Rye Whisky is made from a mash of 95 percent rye and 5 percent malted barley, which are milled and mashed before being fermented with a proprietary strain of yeast. Following fermentation, the whisky is distilled and matured for a minimum of five years in casks that have been charred with a #2 char on the heads and a #4 char on the staves (the degree of charring within a cask is measured on a scale of one to four, with a #1 char referring to casks that have been lightly toasted, and a #4 char referring to casks that have been charred so heavily that the interior resembles an alligator hide). Once the whisky has matured, it is chilled to 40F and then mellowed through sugar maple charcoal. This process is rather unusual (most distilleries that mellow whisky through charcoal do so prior to maturing it in oak barrels) and contributes a hint of smoke and spice to the whisky.George Dickel Rye Whisky has an aroma of oak, spicy rye, citrus and pineapple that gives way to notes of cherries, caramel, cinnamon, maple syrup and vanilla spice on the palate. The finish is gentle and complex, with hints of roasted nuts, fennel and cardamom that reveal undertones of spicy dough, smoke and ginger. The whisky earned the Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2013, and a score of 94 points from Wine Enthusiast. George Remus Straight Bourbon Whiskey
George Remus, dubbed the "King of the Bootleggers," was a famous bootlegger during Prohibition, exploiting loopholes in the Volstead Act to distill bourbon. Born in 1878 in Germany, he settled in Chicago with his family in the 1880s. In his teens he worked in his uncles pharmacy, later becoming the owner. It was there that he acquired experience that would prove invaluable during Prohibition, and the pharmacy would serve as the foundation for his empire. He switched careers, going into law and eventually becoming a trial defense attorney gathering even more useful skills. Once Prohibition was starting to wind up, he would defend many bootleggers, taking note of the riches they managed to amass. Once the Volstead Act was enacted, he found a way to circumvent it and provide a steady stream of spirits for his budding bootlegging operation. The empire expanded and Remus eventually had 3,000 workers as well as politicians on his payroll, briefly living a lavish lifestyle that reportedly inspired The Great Gatsby. George Remus bourbon is made in honor of the King of the Bootleggers. Their flagship Straight Bourbon Whiskey expression is a smooth, balanced, and complex high-rye spirit that is crafted from several different mash bills with water from the underground aquifer that sits below the historic G. Remus Distilling Co. distillery in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Its aged at least 5 years and has notes of maple, vanilla, and cherry, along with a pleasant sweetness and rye spice.Get your bottle today!

Glen Garioch 1797 Founders Reserve Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Situated in the village of Old Meldrum in the Scottish Highlands, the Glen Garioch (pronounced Glen Geery) Distillery was founded in 1797 by John and Alexander Manson. The distillery is one of the oldest in Scotland, and takes its name from the Valley of the Garioch, which is situated adjacent to the distillery and is known for producing the finest barley in all of Scotland. The distillery the most easterly in Scotland enjoys the temperate climate and cool breeze that are ideal for the production and maturation of whisky. Glen Garioch Single Malt Scotch Whisky is made from barley harvested from the Valley of the Garioch. After the barley has been harvested, it is mashed and fermented with water drawn from the Silent Spring. In 1968, production of whisky at Glen Garioch Distillery was suspended as the area surrounding the distillery experienced a severe drought. Four years later, an incredibly pure spring was discovered upon a neighboring farm. The Silent Spring, as it came to be known, could neither be seen nor heard without modern instruments, and has been Glen Gariochs water source for over four decades. Once the barley has been fermented, it is distilled twice first through Glen Garioch copper-pot wash still and then again through its spirit still. Glen Garioch 1797 Founders Reserve Single Malt Scotch Whisky was crafted to celebrate the Manson Brothers, who founded the distillery over two centuries ago. The whisky has a copper-golden hue, along with an aroma of vanilla, dried apples, pears and bright citrus. Notes of dried fruits dominate the palate, and are complemented by touches of ginger, raisins and cinnamon. The finish is sweet and flavorful, with hints of cedar, oak and cloves. Glen Garioch Founders Reserve Single Malt earned the Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2011 and 2012, and a score of 92 points from Wine Enthusiast Magazine. Glen Garioch Virgin Oak Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Situated in the village of Old Meldrum in the Scottish Highlands, the Glen Garioch Distillery (pronounced Glen Geery) was founded in 1797 by John and Alexander Manson. Once the barley has been fermented, it is distilled twice first through Glen Garioch copper-pot wash still and then again through its spirit still. Glen Garioch Virgin Oak Single Malt Scotch Whisky Artisanal Small Batch Release is the first Glen Garioch whisky ever matured exclusively in virgin casks composed of North American oak. While Scotch has traditionally been matured in used sherry, port and bourbon casks, the use of new oak casks to finish whisky is another weapon in a distillerys arsenal and allows the whisky to enjoy the sweeter and more complex flavors of virgin wood. Following maturation, the whisky is bottled without the use of chill filtration or artificial coloring. As a result of this maturation process, the whisky has a rich aroma of buttered bread, white chocolate and orange spices. The aroma gives way to notes of tangy orange, ginger, marmalade and maple syrup on the palate, and leads to a finish accented by touches of malt, brown sugar and cloves. "Glen Gariochs intense flavour means it holds up well in a new fill cask, allowing the liquid to be fully matured in virgin oak and not just finished in the barrel," says Master Blender Rachel Barrie. Glen Grant 15 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (Signatory Bottling)
Situated along the banks of the River Spey, the Glen Grant Distillery was founded in 1840 by John and James Grant, who had previously been employed at the Aberlour Distillery. Glen Grants unique location it enjoyed access to fresh water from the river, a steady supply of barley from the surrounding farmland and access to transportation from the nearby port of Garmouth allowed it proposer quickly. By 1872, however, both John and James Grant had passed away, and James Grant Jr. James son and Johns nephew inherited the distillery. The younger Grant, known simply as "the Major," quickly proved himself a worthy successor. The Major was a legendary inventor, womanizer and traveller he was the first person in the Scottish Highlands to own a car and his distillery was the first in Scotland to enjoy electricity. In addition, the Major designed and equipped Glen Grant distillery with the tall, slender stills and purifiers that allowed Glen Grant to produce whisky that was noticeably lighter and more delicate as compared to its Scottish brethren. Glen Grant Single Malt Scotch Whisky is made from crisp, Scottish barley, much of it still harvested from the same Morayshire fields that John and James Grant used nearly two centuries ago.Once the barley has been malted and mashed, it is fermented in washbacks made of Oregon Pine. While wooden washbacks are more expensive and difficult to maintain as compared to stainless steel washbacks, they absorb more heat generated during the fermentation process and thus, create a lighter and more rich whisky. Following fermentation, the wash is twice distilled, first through Glen Grants copper-pot wash still and then again through its spirit still. Each still is equipped with a purifier, which acts as small condenser and causes a portion of the evaporating vapors to be pumped back into the pot and then re-distilled. This purification process Glen Grant in the only distillery in Scotland to use purifiers in both distillations results in whisky that has a signature fresh and malty flavor.Glen Grant 15 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (Signatory Bottling) was distilled on April 22, 1997 and matured for 5,600 days, or just over 15 years, in a used hogshead cask that was hand-selected by Dennis Malcolm, one of just eight Glent Grant master distillers in the past 125 years. Malcolm, who began apprenticing at the distillery as a cooper when he was just 15 years old, has over five decades of experience distilling and maturing whisky. "We dont believe in rushing things at Glen Grant," he says. "We allow nature to take its time to do its work." On August 21, 2012, the maturing whisky was bottled without the use of any artificial coloring at 86 proof.Glen Grant 15 Year Old Single Malt has a golden honey color, along with an aroma of sweet malt, vanilla, whipped cream and toffee. Notes of orange zest and citrus dominate the palate, and are balanced by a touch of cloves, oak spices and ginger. The finish is long and smooth, with a hint of creamy butter.Only 386 bottles of Glen Grant 15 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (Signatory Bottling) were ever produced. Pick up a bottle today!

Glenfarclas 105 Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Situated on the Recherlich Farm in the Speyside region of Scotland, Glenfarclas Distillery was founded in 1836 by Robert Hay, a tenant farmer. In 1865, Hay sold the distillery to John Grant for 511. Grant was a cattle breeder at the time, and was looking for a staging post between his farm in Glenlivet and the commercial market situated in Elgin. When Grant passed away in 1889, he left the estate to his son George. George died shortly thereafter and his children, also named George and John Grant, took control of the distillery. After saving the distillery from the brink of bankruptcy, the Grant Brothers modernized and expanded operations at the distillery such that in May 1912, a rival distiller wrote "of all the whiskies, malt is king of all the kings, Glenfarclas reigns supreme." Today, George S. Grant the great-great-great grandson of a cattle farmer represents the sixth generation of Grants that own and manage the Glenfarclas Distillery, one of the last remaining independent distilleries in Scotland.Glenfarclas Single Malt Scotch Whisky is made from freshly harvested barley, which is malted and mashed with water sourced from the heather-clad slopes of the Ben Rinnes Mountain. The crystal-clear spring water, which cascades down the 3,000-foot mountain through peat and granite, is the lifeblood of the Glenfarclas Distillery. After the barley has been malted and mashed, it is fermented using a proprietary yeast culture. The wash the liquid that remains after fermentation is then distilled twice through Glenfarclas copper-pot stills. While most distilleries use modern, steam-powered stills that lengthen the lifespan of the still, Glenfarclas Distillery continues to use traditional direct-heated stills in order to preserve the classic flavors of the Scotch whisky. After distillation, the heads and tails of the distillate are discarded and the whisky is matured until it has reached its peak flavor.Glenfarclas 105 Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky was initially developed in 1968 by George S. Grant, who decided to bottle a barrel of Glenfarclas Whisky at cask strength as a Christmas gift for family and friends. Today, the whisky represents one of the most classic and elegant Glenfarclas labels, and continues to be bottled at cask strength. It has a deep, golden color, along with an aroma of apples, pears and dark coffee. With a touch of water, the aroma fades into notes of rich spices, oak and sherry on the palate, and leads to a long, smooth finish with a lingering smoky flavor.Glenfarclas 105 was rated one of the Top 5 Single Malt Scotches by Wine Enthusiast, which gave it a score of 95 points and said that it had an "almost bourbon-like beauty. Glenfiddich 18 Year Old Single Scotch Malt Whisky
In 1886, William Grant, along with the help of his nine children and a single stone mason, began construction of the Glenfiddich Distillery, situated in the Speyside region of Scotland. After a year of hard labor, the first drop of whisky fell from the distillerys copper-pot stills on Christmas Day 1887. Today, Grants passion, determination and pioneering spirit continue to guide Glenfiddich Distillery, which is stewarded by the fifth generation of the Grant family.Glenfiddich Single Malt Scotch is made exclusively from malted barley, which is milled and mashed with water sourced from Robbie Dhu spring. The crystal clear spring water, which is bottled directly at the source, is incredibly pure the distillery purchased 1,200 acres around the spring decades ago in order to protect its unique water supply. After the barley has been mashed, it is fermented in wooden fermentation tanks made of Douglas Fir. While wooden fermentation tanks are more expensive and difficult to maintain as compared to stainless steel tanks, they absorb a portion of the heat generated during fermentation, and thus, enable a slower and longer fermentation process. Following fermentation, the wash is twice-distilled through Glenfiddichs copper-pot stills (the distillery employs a craftsman onsite to tend to the stills, which are unique in shape and size) before the heart of the distillate is cut and prepared for maturation.Made with the same Highland spring water thats been used since 1887, Glenfiddich 18 year is matured using Spanish Oloroso wood and American oak. Today, Grants passion, determination and pioneering spirit continue to guide Glenfiddich Distillery, which is stewarded by the fifth generation of the Grant family. Glenfiddich Single Malt Scotch is made exclusively from malted barley, which is milled and mashed with water sourced from Robbie Dhu spring. Following fermentation, the wash is twice-distilled through Glenfiddichs copper-pot stills (the distillery employs a craftsman onsite to tend to the stills, which are unique in shape and size) before the heart of the distillate is cut and prepared for maturation.Glenfiddich Age of Discovery 19 Year Old Bourbon Cask Reserve draws its name from 15th century Portuguese explorers, who led the original age of discovery by pioneering trade routes with India, Vietnam and China. Glenfiddich Age of Discovery is matured for 19 years and is the only Glenfiddich expression that is matured exclusively in American oak casks that were previously used to mature bourbon. As a result of this unique maturation process, the whisky has a golden barley color, along with an aroma of crunchy toffee, butterscotch and citrus. The aroma gives way to notes of rich vanilla, leather, Cuban tobacco and plums, and ends with a long and sweet finish. Glenfiddich Age of Discovery earned the Gold Medal at the International Wine and Spirits Competition in 2013, and was just released to the United States. We have only a handful of bottles available, so pick one up today!

Glenfiddich IPA Experiment Scotch Whisky
Glenfiddich Experimental Series: A Single Malt with an IPA cask finishIn the heart of Speyside, in the Highlands, nestled in a majestic green aurora, sits confidently the Glenfiddich distillery. Gaelic for Valley of the Deer, Glenfiddich puts a symbol of a stag on their emblem. Founded by William Grant (previously at Mortlach) in the summer of 1886, with his seven sons and 2 daughters, Glenfiddich is one of the only Scottish distilleries to remain family owned. the distillery was built by hand, on the banks of the Fiddich River. The first spirit dripped from the stills a year later on Christmas day 1887.Throughout its history, Glenfiddich has remained a resourceful business, far outpacing their competitors in production capacity and innovation. In the beginning they produced blends for various clients, but when their biggest client Pattison went bankrupt in 1898, Glenfiddich created its own blend Steadfast, and in 1903 Glenfiddich was incorporated as William Grant and Sons.In 1923, Prohibition dried the markets to a trickle. Only 6 Scottish distilleries remained open, Glenfiddich was one of them. During this time, Grant Gordongrandson of William Grant joined the family business. At the height of Prohibition he insightfully increased whisky production, anticipating of a surge in demand after the ban. In the late 1950s an onsite cooperage was established, with coppersmiths to tend to the distillerys distinctive copper stills. During 1963, William Grant and Sons responded resourcefully to a grain dispute with DCL, by building their own Girvan grain distillery, and made the decision to bottle and promote Glenfiddich as a single malt. They became the first Scottish whisky to promote their single malt outside of Scotland. This perspicacity is what introduced the single malt to the entire world. Glendfiddich has a longstanding presence in the whisky industry. Always on the forefront of imagination and innovation, it is the most awarded whisky in the world, and one of the highest selling whisky brands. In 1969 they were the first distillery to open their doors to the publicto this day they offer everything from tours, to private chef experiences. Under pagoda style roofs, are two still houses with 28 pear shaped copper stills, and handcrafted oak Solera vats that were added in 1998, to marry a range of aged spirits. They produce a colossal 10 million liters per year, using a specially sourced malted barley from Balvenie. They draw water from the Robbie Dhu Spring. The business is now owned by the 5th generation of Grants. They also own three additional malt distilleries; Balvenie, Kininvie and Ailsa Bay, and have also acquired other serious spirit brands such as Monkey Shoulder and Hendricks gin. Glenfiddich produces a diverse range of whiskies. A veritable collection of blends and single malts, differing in age statement and cask finish, Their newest release is their Experimental Series. This newest series is going to be a full range of experimental single malts. Beginning with the India Pale Ale Experiment. Beer and whisky have mostly the same basic ingredients and production processes, so it is no wonder that their flavor profiles would get along harmoniously. But Glenfiddich decided to marry these two drinks in a unique way; by finishing a single malt whisky in an India Pale ale seasoned cask.Glenfiddich malt master Brian Kinsman, along with craft brewer Seb Jones of Speyside Craft Brewery, specifically created a new India Pale craft ale to finish the single malt. They seasoned different casks for various times before adding the whisky. The result is The first single malt whisky finished in India Pale Ale seasoned casks. On the nose this expression has notes of fresh green apple, pear, spring blossom, with tangy aromatic hops, herbs. The palate is sweet, vibrant and fruity, with notes of cinnamon, lemon, apple, cream, vanilla, honeysuckle. The finish is sweet, with an echo of green hops.Grab your bottle today!

Glengoyne 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Situated in a wooded valley in the Highlands region of Scotland, Glengoyne Distillery was founded by George Campbell and has been producing single malt whisky continuously since 1833. The distillery, which takes its name from "Glen Guin" or Glen of the Wild Geese, is situated directly atop the Highlands Line the line that divides the Highlands and Lowlands regions of Scotland. As a result, while Glengoyne Single Malt Scotch Whisky is distilled in the Highlands region, it is matured in the Lowlands region, despite the fact that the distillerys stillhouse and maturation warehouses are across the street from each other.Glengoyne Single Malt Whisky is produced exclusively from Golden Promise barley. Golden Promise is an early-maturing spring barley that has a depth of flavor ideal for single malts. While it was popular in the production of whisky for many years, it gave way to cheaper barely that was higher in yield but lower in quality. Today, Glengoyne, along with The Macallan, is one of only two distilleries remaining in Scotland that continues to use Golden Promise barley.Once the Golden Promise barley has been air-dried, it is milled and mashed before being fermented for 56 hours in washbacks crafted from pine. Following fermentation, the wash is distilled through Glengoynes copper-pot wash still and then again through its two copper-pot spirit stills, working in tandem (whisky is distilled more slowly at Glengoyne than at any other distillery in Scotland). The copper stills remove any remaining sulphur in the wash, and produce the sweet, concentrated flavors that define Glengoyne Scotch Whisky. This sherried Highland style whisky is aged for 12 years in a mix of first-fill sherry, refill sherry, and ex-bourbon and first-fill Hogshead ex-bourbon barrels. Bottled at 43 percent ABV.Pick up your bottle today!

The finish is lush, elegant and full, with touches of sherry and red fruit underlying hints of cloves and spices.Glengoyne 21 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky earned the Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and the International Wine and Spirits Competition. Glenmorangie 18 Year Old Extremely Rare Single Malt Scotch Whisky
In 1738, a brewery was built upon Morangie Farm in the Highlands region of Scotland. A century later, William Matheson acquired the farm and equipped the Morangie brewery with two stills that he purchased second-hand, and renamed the brewery-converted-distillery Glenmorangie.Glenmorangie Single Malt Scotch Whisky is made using malted barley, which is germinated with water sourced from the Tarlogie Spring. The water produced from the spring, which spends nearly a century underground before it is extracted, is unusually rich in minerals. (In the 1980s, when development in the area threatened the springs water quality, the distillery purchased 600 acres of land around and including the spring, in order to ensure consistent water quality and adequate supply.)After germination, the grains are mashed and fermented before being twice distilled through Glenmorangies copper-pot stills. The stills are equipped with relatively small boiler pots, which increases the exposure of the whisky to the copper, resulting in a more pure flavor. In addition, the stills are nearly seventeen feet tall the tallest of any distillery in Scotland and as a result, produce a lighter, more refined whisky. After distillation, Glenmorangie 18 Year Old Extremely Rare Single Malt Scotch Whisky is aged for fifteen years in used bourbon casks. Approximately 30 percent of the whisky is then double-barreled, or finished, in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks for an additional three years. After both the original and double-barreled whisky have reached 18 years of age, they are blended together in order to create Glenmorangie 18 Year Old Extremely Rare Whisky.Glenmorangies 18 Year Old Extremely Rare "embodies our house style," says Dr. Bill Lumsden, Glenmorangies Head of Distilling and Flavor Creation since 1998. Lumsden, who holds a PhD in Biochemistry (he wrote his dissertation on yeast physiology) and is the only person in the world to have been honored with Whisky Advocates "Industry Leader of the Year" award three times, is one of the most respected figures in the Scotch whisky industry. "It develops and fills out the characteristics of the 10 Years Old, adding another dimension," he says of the 18 Year Old expression, "but it remains true to its origin."The whisky has a deep amber color, with notes of mandarin, banana, apple and pear. Well-textured, the flavors open up to notes of apricots, nuts and vanilla, along with hints of raisins and fudge. The finish, which lingers, has a touch of almonds and sweet citrus.Glenmorangie 18 Year Old Extremely Rare Whisky earned the Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2010, and the title "Best in Class" at the International Wine and Spirits Competition in 2009.Pick up an extremely rare whisky today!

Glenmorangie Signet Single Malt Scotch Whisky
In 1738, a brewery was built upon Morangie Farm in the Highlands region of Scotland. A century later, William Matheson acquired the farm and equipped the Morangie brewery with two stills that he purchased second-hand, and renamed the brewery-converted-distillery Glenmorangie. Since then, Glenmorangie has produced some of the finest single malt whiskies in Scotland.Glenmorangie Signet Single Malt Scotch Whisky is the culmination of a "lifetime" of experimentation and innovation, says Dr. Bill Lumsden, Glenmorangies Master of Whisky Creation. While studying Biochemistry and Cell Biology as a student at Glasgow University over 30 years ago, Lumsden began experimenting with the distillation of different varieties of malted barley that were commonly used to produce beer (the barley used to produce beer is often roasted or caramelized, while the barley used to make whisky traditionally is not).Glenmorangie Signet Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a marriage of whisky produced from two unique types of malted barley: Cadboll malted barley and malted chocolate barley (often used to create craft beers). The whisky produced from Cadboll malted barley, which is harvested on the rolling hills that surround Glenmorangie Distillery, contributes a creamy, vanilla flavor to Glenmorangie Signet. The chocolate barley, however, is "the heart of the recipe," says Lumsden. The high roasted chocolate malt "is tumble roasted in the same way coffee beans would be,"and as a result, contributes strong notes mocha, cacao beans and milk chocolate to the whisky.Once the barley has been fermented, it is distilled twice through Glenmorangies copper-pot stills by a team of 16 distillers known as the Sixteen Men of Tain. Glenmorangies stills are equipped with relatively small boiler pots, which increases the exposure of the whisky to the copper, resulting in a more pure flavor. In addition, the stills are nearly seventeen feet tall the tallest of any distillery in Scotland and as a result, produce a lighter, more refined whisky.Following distillation, Glenmorangie Signet is aged in a variety of different casks. While a portion of the whisky is matured in Spanish oak casks that were previously used to mature sherry, another portion is matured in new, charred oak casks. "The charred oak surface gives a very spicy, toasty style of whisky," says Lumsden. In addition, there is an "element of our oldest and rarest stocks Glenmorangie whiskies from 35 years old through to 40 years old," he adds.Glenmorangie Signet Single Malt Scotch Whisky has a rich aroma of mocha, milk chocolate and tiramisu. The aroma opens up to viscous, full-bodied notes of coffee, almonds, biscotti, ginger, cinnamon and orange on the palate, and ends with a creamy vanilla finish. The whisky earned the Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2009, 2010 and 2011, and earned a score of 95 points from Wine Enthusiast. In addition, it earned the Best Single Malt Scotch (no age statement) Trophy at the International Wine and Spirits Competition in 2013."Glenmorangie Signet is without doubt the most unusual whisky ever produced in Scotland," says Lumsden.Pick up a unique bottle of whisky today!
