Jeffersons Ocean Aged at Sea Voyage 20 Bourbon Whiskey
The principal author of the Declaration of Independence and one of the greatest Founding Fathers, Thomas Jefferson was elected the third President of the United States in 1800. During his tenure, Jefferson authorized the purchase of the Louisiana Territory, dispatched Lewis and Clark westward in order to explore the remainder of the continent, and repealed the Whisky Excise Tax.After Jefferson retired from public office in 1815, he often tended to the garden that he had cultivated on his Monticello estate. At the time, it was customary for wealthy farmers, including Jefferson, to distill the excess grains they harvested from their farms into spirits (George Washington was one of the countrys largest distillers of rye whiskey). As a result, each farmers spirits were unique and reflected the local terroir of their farm. Jeffersons Ocean Aged At Sea Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey pays homage to Jefferson and the exquisite whiskey he distilled. But the Ocean lineup is extra special in that it experiments with how maturing aboard a ship affects a spirit. The vessel in question is Ocearchs flagship, and this bourbon has traveled the world aboard that ship. The bourbon uses wheat in its mash bill as its small grain instead of the typical rye. The lighter wheat allows the sweetness of the corn to build through the maturation process. Once barreled and allowed to mature on land, it was put to sea, where it was immediately and continually influenced by the salt air and constant movement of the ship. Typically crossing the equator 4 times, the liquid is exposed to extreme changes in temperature as the ship transitions from winter to summer and vice versa without the buffer of spring and fall. Extreme heat changes cause the sugars of the corn to caramelize in the wood and work their way into the bourbon as the wood contracts with the extreme drop in temperature. Crafted with 7- and 8-year-old bourbons, this years release marks a departure from previous ones.Pick up your bottle today!

Launched in 1997 by Trey and his father Chet Zoeller, a bourbon historian. First released in 1997, Jeffersons has several offerings in their lineup, and utilizes very innovative and experimental blending and aging techniques. For example, their Jeffersons Ocean expression is a bourbon, aged on a ship at sea, exposed to extreme weather conditions, crafting a truly distinct spirit. As Jefferson Bourbons Master Distiller, Trey Zoeller is an aficionado of the Upper Valley Cabernet Sauvignon wines from the Pritchard Hill region of California. For their limited edition Jeffersons Pritchard Hill, Trey collaborated with Cyril Chappellet of the Chappellet Estate Winery, using their wine casks to age the special bourbon expression. This Jeffersons Pritchard Hill release is aged using quite a unique maturation technique; a twin wood aging process, that incorporates a blend of three complex, elegant bourbons that have been aged for one year in new American Oak barrels, and finished in ex-Pritchard Hill Cabernet Sauvignon French Oak casks. The special casks were once situated at the highly elevated, rocky slopes of the Chappellet Vineyard in St. Helena, Napa Valley. The wine barrels that matured the most sought-after wine in the Chappellet portfolio lend a sweetness to the bourbon by adding notes of dark berry, espresso, and chocolate (Jeffersons).Try this truly distinct Cabernet finished bourbon today!

Jeffersons Reserve Very Old Very Small Batch Bourbon Whiskey
The principal author of the Declaration of Independence and one of the most illustrious founding fathers, Thomas Jefferson was elected the third President of the United States in 1800. During his tenure as President, Jefferson authorized the purchase of the Louisiana Territory, dispatched Lewis and Clark westward in order to explore the remainder of the continent and repealed the Whisky Excise Tax.After Jefferson retired from public office in 1815, he often tended to the garden that he had cultivated at his Monticello estate. At the time, it was customary for wealthy farmers, including Jefferson, to make their own garden spirits. Each farmers spirits were unique and reflected their personal tastes and the local terroir of their farm. Jeffersons Reserve Very Old Straight Bourbon Whiskey is crafted by Chet and Trey Zoeller in honor of Jefferson and his experimental nature. While the Zoellers were inspired by Jefferson, their own roots can be traced back for generations deep into Kentuckys bourbon history.Jeffersons Reserve Very Old Bourbon is a complex blend of three unique bourbons each made from a mash of corn, rye and malted barley that are aged for up to twenty years and brought to proof with Kentucky limestone water. While most small batch bourbons are made from a blend of 200 to 300 different casks, each batch of Jeffersons Reserve is crafted from only 8 to 12 casks, causing the Zoellers to label their bottling process as "ridiculously small batch." The difference, Zoeller says, is like "making dinner for eight guests instead of eighty. You are able to deliver a great product that has the nuances you are striving for."Like Jefferson himself, Jeffersons Reserve Bourbon is complex, elegant and sophisticated. It has an aroma of gentle, creamy vanilla, soft spices and dried fruits that open up to notes of toffee, roasted corn and tobacco, before leading to a lingering, dry finish. Jeffersons Reserve earned a score of 94 points from the Beverage Testing Institute and the Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition."Jeffersons is a handmade product that I put my name on, which makes it hugely important," says Zoeller. As a result, each farmers spirits were unique and reflected the local terroir of their farm. The Jeffersons brand pays homage to Jefferson and the exquisite whiskey he distilled.Founded in 1997, Jeffersons is the brainchild of Trey Zoeller and his father Chet, a famed bourbon historian. Continuing a family tradition that dates as far back as the 18th century -when Treys 8th generation grandmother was arrested in 1799 for the production and sales of spirituous liquors.Generations later, the father-son duo chose to personify the brand in the spirit of Thomas Jeffersonwho was renown his curious nature and love of experimentation. Jeffersons is constantly expanding their horizons with new and innovative ways of looking at whiskey, and how it interacts with wood. At this intersection of art and experimentation, lies inspiration. The Wood Experimental Collection was inspired by an enlightening trip to a wine cooperage in Missouri. Wine barrels are almost exclusively toasted oak, as opposed to bourbons charred, brand-new barrels, which yield a high-oak flavor profile. This is what inspired Trey Zoeller to embark on an experimental journey with a 4-year-old bourbon, aging it in new charred white oak barrels, and finishing it in 13 different environments/vessels. "Over a period of 32 months, we charted the characteristics of each experiment monthly and analyzed how the different treatments have affected the outcome of the final whiskey (producer). This selection features five of the 13 small batch experimental bourbon whiskeys: #3, #4, #6, #10, and #12, each vessel imparting a distinct and intriguing character onto the spirit. Wood exp. no.3 was finished in new 60-gallon American oak barrels with a low, deep impact toast profile. Wood exp. no.4 was finished in a new standard whiskey barrel with medium char, infused with heavily charred American oak cubes. Wood exp. no.6 was finished in a new standard whiskey barrel with a light-medium char, infused with lightly toasted American oak staves. Jim Beam Bonded Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Following the end of the American Revolutionary War, Johannes Reginald Beam emigrated from Germany to the United States, and eventually settled in Kentucky County. At the time, Kentucky County was still considered part of Virginia, and was overseen by a military governor named John J. Bowman. In order to encourage westward expansion, Virginia issued pioneers who agreed to settle in Kentucky County corn writs, which granted the pioneers 60 acres of land if they agreed to settle in Kentucky and start farming corn. After settling in Kentucky, Beam began harvesting corn and set forth a family tradition by distilling the excess grains he harvested into whiskey. Since then, seven generations of the Beam family have been involved in whiskey production for the eponymous company (the company is actually named after James Beam, who rescued it following Prohibition). Today, Fred Noe a seventh generation master distiller and the great grandson of Colonel James B. Beam shepherds his family legacy forward.Jim Beam Bonded Whiskey is Fred Noes latest project, an effort to revive the somewhat lost art of bonded whiskey. Made according to a strict set of of Federal regulations, bonded whisky takes its name from the bonded warehouses where bonded whiskey must be kept under lock-and-key for at least four years and the laws that governed them. Bonded whiskey must also be bottled at 100 proof, and has to be produced during a single season at the distillery. Leading up to Prohibition, when whiskey tampering was rampant, these practices were designed to assure customers that the whiskey they were purchasing was of a certain high, unadulterated quality.Jim Beam Bonded Whiskey has a sharp, woody aroma, with lighter notes of vanilla and caramel leading to toasted marshmallow, butterscotch candy and maple on the palate. The finish is deep and complex, with notes of tobacco and polished leather rounding out the earlier sweetness.Pick up a true bonded whiskey today!

John Emerald Alabama Single Malt Whiskey
John Emerald Distilling Company is a family-run small batch craft distillery from Opelika, Alabama that has been operational since 2014. It is the first legal distillery that opened in the state since the end of the Prohibition era, a year short of a hundred years later. It all started when John and his son Jimmy Sharp, both homebrewers, started looking into opening a brewery. Finding the market to be oversaturated, they turned to craft distilling instead and started rigorous training and education. They came upon an old cotton warehouse in Opelika, a small and business-friendly town where the mayor welcomed them with open arms. The distillery now operates on 8 thousand square feet and has a tasting room that is open for visitors. They produce several spirits using their 350-gallon hybrid pot, each product named after one of Johns and Jimmys ancestors their (grand) father John Emerald Sharp, a successful businessman, being the distillerys namesake. The spirits include award-winning gin, vodka, rum, and single malt. At the very core of their lineup is the John Emerald Alabama Single Malt Whiskey, the only one to share the name with the distillery itself. The style is between bourbon and Scotch whisky, or as they like to call it American single malt. A part of the 100 percent malted barley grain recipe is smoked with peach and pecan wood, and Alabama wine barrel staves are added for a touch of smoke and added complexity. The spirit then matures in Missouri Ozark charred oak barrels in a room that simulates the changing of seasons with variable temperature.Get your bottle today!

Johnnie Walker 18 Year Old Scotch Whisky
Upon his fathers death in 1820, a young grocer named Johnnie Walker invested his 417 inheritance into a grocery and spirits shop on High Street in Scotland. The blend was personally created by James Beveridge, Johnnie Walkers Master Distiller, and is crafted to reflect the style of whiskies produced by Johnnie and Alexander Walker in the 19th century."I think of blending as being like the process of writing," says Beveridge. "Is the final book just a series of words, a lot of facts and information, or has it been put together with care and attention so that the end result will relate to the person who reads it? If it does, then that, you could argue, is magic blending, like writing, like any creative process, is much more involved in the world of ideas, with trying to connect with the whisky drinker. I like to think that we have made that connection."Knowing that only one in every ten thousand casks makes it into the Johnnie Walker Blue Label is a proof that it truly is an unrivaled masterpiece.Johnnie Walker Blue has a subtly sweet aroma with notes of bittersweet chocolate, caramelized oranges and a touch of tobacco.
