Singani 63 Brandy
Singani is an indigenous Bolivian spirit that has been produced since 1530, and distributed exclusively inside Bolivia. Fast forward to 2008, Steven Soderbergh attended a kickoff party in Madrid for the 2008 biopic Che. The casting director of the film gave him a taste of Singani, an aromatic, clear grape-based Bolivian spirit. The rest was history.Singani uses only muscat grapes of Alexandria which must be planted at a minimum of 5250 feet. Because Singani is not a recognized spirit category in most of the world, it is described as a brandy, but is better classified as an eau-de-vie. Singani has been described as being much like pisco, and came about when the Spanish brought their grapes and their distilling methods over to Latin America. Five hundred years later, its the national drink of Bolivia with a Domain of Origen, and yet still mostly unknown outside the country. In 2010, Steven Soderbergh created his own line, Singani 63, to be distributed everywhere outside of Bolivia. In November of 2014, he co-petitioned (with the Bolivian government) to the U.S. Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau to recognize Singani as its own unique category, not unlike Pisco and Cachaa. The number 63 is a reference to Soderberghs birth year, and this Singani is the first ever to be available in the United States and for that you can thank the director, Steven Soderbergh and his blood, sweat, and tears (and money).Pick up your bottle today!

Sombra Ensamble Mezcal Tepeztate and Tobala
Sombra Mezcals new distillery was built in 2017 in Santiago Matatlan, Oaxaca, Mexico. Its an eco-friendly operation that produces artisanal small-batch mezcal. Every step of the process is geared toward sustainability, starting with 7 to 10-year-old organic agaves. After the harvest, these are roasted in underground stone pits using sustainably-harvested wood. They are then crushed in a traditional tahona mill which is solar-powered, instead of donkey-pulled.The juice is then left to ferment for 8 days in vats using wild yeast, after which the mash is distilled twice using copper-pot stills, using clean-burning natural gas instead of wood fire. At the end of the process, the leftovers are used to produce adobe bricks that are donated and used to rebuild houses in earthquake-prone Oaxaca. Sombra Mezcal is bottled at 90 proof using recycled glass.Sombra Mezcal Ensamble is handcrafted in Santiago Matatln, Oaxaca in Sombras very own distillery using rare wild Tepeztate and Tobal agaves from the Oaxacan Sierra. The first adds citrusy and peppery notes, the latter a distinct earthiness. The limited-edition and ultra-premium spirit employs all the traditional techniques, upgraded with modern sustainability practices. Southern Amaro Liqueur
Situated in the center of historic downtown Charleston, SC, High Wire specializes in premium, handcrafted, small-batch spirits using the finest ingredients available. They like to get creative, employing their culinary expertise, when crafting their recipes. All the spirits are hand-made using German copper stills.High Wire was founded in 2013 by a husband and wife team and produces a distinctive line of small-batch gins, rums, whiskeys, and vodkas made from premium, specialized, and local ingredients. Scott Blackwell, an entrepreneur and CIA-trained baker and owner/distiller at High Wire, applies his knowledge of artisanal grains and culinary techniques to the spirits he creates. The distillery operates out of a 6,000 square foot warehouse with a distinct vintage feel to it. The beautiful high, barrelled ceiling and the hand-hammered still can be viewed through windows that connect the distillery to the tasting room, where visitors are welcome to try the spirits and take a tour. Not long after opening the distillery, the pair managed to partner with Dr. Brian Ward from the Clemson University to get their hands on some Jimmy Red corn, which was saved from extinction by Ted Chewning. They use the unique strain of maize to produce a special edition premium whiskey, the Jimmy Red Bourbon. Amaro (Italian for "bitter") is an extremely popular Italian herbal bittersweet liqueur. High Wire Southern Amaro Liqueur is their take on the Italian classic with a distinctly Southern twist. Unlike most amaro styles that use traditional Italian recipes, its hand-crafted using local ingredients, including Charleston black tea, yaupon holly, Dancy tangerine, and mint. Its fresh, citrusy profile has a light sweetness and bitterness that is perfect for cocktails or a digestif.Grab a bottle today!

St Germain Elderflower Liqueur
St Germain was launched in 2007 when the late Robert Cooper created the first French elderflower liqueur that was all-natural and made with fresh hand-picked elderflowers. The New York-based Cooper Spirits Co was founded in 2006 and was sold to Bacardi in 2013.With St Germain Elderflower Liqueur time is of the essence since the blossoms only have 3 to 4 weeks in late spring and early summer when their aromas and flavors are at their peak. They are meticulously picked by hand, taking special care not to damage the delicate blossoms which would impact the taste. Speed is crucial since they need to be as fresh as possible at the time of maceration. The maceration is done using slow age-old French techniques where the warm water is infused with the flavor. After the maceration is filtered and decanted, it gets thoroughly inspected before being blended with previous mixtures, and finally with eau-de-vie de vin, water, sugar, and neutral grain spirit. Up to 1,000 blossoms go into each and every bottle of this liqueur which takes its name after the famous district in Paris, reflected by the Art Deco design of the bottle. Bottled at 40 proof, it has no artificial coloring added. The original elderflower liqueur has garnered numerous awards, including a Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Paul Pacult has called it "maybe the best new liqueur released in the last two decades."Grab your bottle today!

St. George Absinthe Verte
Founded in 1982 by German-born Joerg Rupf, St. George Spirits is one of the oldest craft distilleries in the United States. The distillery, housed in an old World War II airplane hangar on a former naval base on the edge of San Francisco, is home to Lance Winters, mad scientist and St. Georges master distiller. Winters, who is widely-known for experimenting with different types of spirits, has a laboratory dominated by a 10-liter test still in addition to the glass beakers and graduated cylinders that cover every inch of his counter space. Next to the dusty chalkboards caked with equations for the conversion of sugar to alcohol and intricate diagrams of molecular structures are bottles of experimental whiskies, vodkas and even an aging balsamic vinegar (its 14 years old already). In 1996, Winters began experimenting with the distillation of absinthe using a recipe he found in Scientific American (while it was illegal to sell absinthe until 2007 in the United States, the law was not extended to the distillation of absinthe). For eleven years, Winters tinkered with the recipe looking to find the perfect balance of ingredients in order to "create a symphony of flavor,"he says. "It was just a manic obsession with the ingredients that drove me to tweak the formula."As the ban on the sale of absinthe was being repealed, Winters finally perfected his recipe and in 2007, he released the first American-made absinthe in almost a century."The key to the process of making absinthe,"Winters says, "is to use a two-step process."First, Winters distills a grape-based brandy together with grand wormwood, anise and fennel through a 1,500-liter copper-pot still. Then, Winters infuses the absinthe with a secret blend of botanicals, including lemon balm, hyssop, mint, opal basil and tarragon. As a result of this recipe, St. George Absinthe has a heady, herbaceous aroma, with hints of citrus, anise and fennel. The aroma opens up to notes of meadowsweet, tarragon and hyssop on the palate, and the addition of water creates an opalescent louche that subtly brings out the flavor of the lemon balm.St. George Absinthe Verte earned the Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2010 and was called "one of the most eloquent absinthes on the market today."Pick up a bottle today!

St. George NOLA Coffee Liqueur
Founded in 1982 by German-born Jrg Rupf, St. George Spirits is one of the oldest craft distilleries in the United States. The distillery, housed in an old World War II airplane hangar on a former naval base on the edge of San Francisco, is home to Lance Winters, mad scientist and St. Georges master distiller.Winters, who is widely-known for experimenting with different types of spirits, has a laboratory dominated by a 10-liter test still in addition to the glass beakers and graduated cylinders that cover every inch of counterspace. Next to the dusty chalkboards caked with equations for the conversion of sugar to alcohol and intricate diagrams of molecular structures are bottles of experimental whiskies, vodkas and even an aging balsamic vinegar (its 14 years old already).St. George NOLA Coffee Liqueur is a New Orleans Coffee Liqueur "that has been on our wishlist for years," says Winters. The liqueur is crafted using Ethiopian Yirgacheffe coffee beans, which are renown for their bright notes of fruit, cocoa, and milk chocolate. Before the beans arrive at the distillery, they are roasted medium-dark by Jewel Box Roasters, situated in Oakland, California, and then ground at a grain mill in order to extract the maximum flavor. The coffee grounds are then cold-brewed in water and vodka before being distilled. This process helps "capture the largest spectrum of aromatic top notes, mid notes, and bass notes" from the coffee, says Dave Smith, a distiller at St. George Spirits. The coffee-based spirit is then infused with French chicory root and Madagascar vanilla beans, which contribute a sweet and earthy flavor profile to the smooth liqueur.St. George NOLA Coffee Liqueur has an aroma of milk chocolate and coffee that gives way to notes of roasted nuts, espresso and a touch of brown sugar on the palate. The finish is soft, with the bitterness of the coffee beans rounded out with a sweet touch.Serious Drinks says that the liqueur has a "full coffee flavor profile," while the Los Angeles Times says that it "carries the taste of very good dark-roast coffee to an absurd length," and is "fresh and sophisticated." In addition, Imbiber says that the liqueur has a "robust and balanced" flavor profile. Pick up a bottle today!

St. George Raspberry Brandy
Founded in 1982 by German-born Jrg Rupf, St. George Spirits is one of the oldest craft distilleries in the United States. Next to the dusty chalkboards caked with equations for the conversion of sugar to alcohol and intricate diagrams of molecular structures are bottles of experimental whiskies, vodkas and even an aging balsamic vinegar (its 14 years old already). Our objective with St. George Raspberry Brandy, explains Winters, was to take an olfactory snapshot to capture exactly what raspberries smell like at their peak of ripeness. We used the whole fruit in its entirety in a deliberate effort to maximize the most elemental and essential flavors and aromas. Once the raspberries have been harvested, they are distilled through copper pot stills without the use of sugar or any other artificial ingredients. The brandy has an extraordinary texture and flavor profile, with rich waves of soft fruit, raspberries, oak and cinnamon that are complemented by a mineral touch. The brandy was named one of the Top 75 Spirits of 2014 by F. Paul Pacults Spirit Journal. Pick up a bottle today!

Tesseron Royal Blend Rare Cognac
Tesseron Cognac was founded in 1905 by Abel Tesseron. During this time the cognac house was split between two estates, one situated in the Grande Champagne area (Boneuil) and the other in Petite Champagne (Saint-Surin). The eaux-de-vie was stocked and carefully conserved in a twelfth-century crypt. Treasured amongst a small circle of connoisseurs, Tesseron always been sought after. Tesseron is now run by the third and fourth generations of Tesserons. Alfred Tesseron is the third generation of Tesseron men with deep roots in the authentic traditions of cognac and wine production. He inherited the gift of creating elegant cognacs from his father, Guy Tesseron, having spent his youth in France, he worked in America for a leading US distributor, before contributing to one most successful Grand Crus in Paulliac, Medoc. Melanie and Justine are the fourth generations of Tesserons. Joining the family business in 2005, both having experience in the spirits industry. The doors of the Tesseron home in Chteauneuf-sur-Charente lead to a unique collection of the finest cognacs. A treasure trove of spirit dating back to the nineteenth century when Abel Tesseron acquired the property to begin his priceless collection. A tradition kept alive by his son and grandson Alfred, who run the business and well as own the prestigious Chteau Pontet-Canet, a Pauillac Classified Growth in 1855.Uniquely all three traditional Cognac grape varieties Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche, and Colombard are still grown on the Tesseron estates. The Folle Blanche and Colombard varieties have pretty much disappeared in the region, as they are challenging to cultivate and produce small crops, but these varieties add a valuable extra dimension to the final blend. The grapes are gathered during the long, warm, sunny days of early autumn and fermented to produce a low strength, acidic wine of approximately 8 percent ABV.The distillation is strictly overseen during October through March of the following year. The cognacs are double-distilled in gleaming copper pot stills heated by a naked flame. Only the heart of distillation makes it into the final Cognac. The Tesseron cellars dating back to the 13th century were once part of the crypt of the local church. Here the young eaux-de-vie is laid to rest, left to age quietly, maturing in old oak casks for many years. The casks are crafted from ancient oaks, felled in the nearby forests of Limousin. During maturation the cognac gently oxidizes, absorbing the soft tannins from the old oak casks. Tesseron Cognacs have great complexity and depth, taking many years to develop, as the matre de chai crafts a subtle blend of three grape varieties: Ugni Blanc (for roundness), Folle Blanche (for finesse) and Colombard for (strength and depth). Each cask and eau-de-vie variety imparts a special nuance to the final blend.Tesseron Royal Blend was originally commissioned for a royal family. The selection from extremely old Grande Champagne cognacs was chosen from the Tesseron family private collection. Chosen for their exceptional fruity and floral aromas, this cognac is a blend of cognacs crafted from Ugni Blanc and Colombard grapes, all of which have been aged for a minimum of 2 generations. Royal Blend is matured for 2 months in Limousin oak before spending around 50 years in Tierons barrels that are them- selves 50-60 years old (making them some of the oldest and most precious barrels in cognac) which are used exclusively for the rarest cognacs. This extraordinary blend, aged for two generations, is bottled in hand-blown glass created by a master glassblower and faithful replicas of the ones found in the familys treasured Paradis cellar. Only 1,000 bottles of Royal Blend were produced for the world.Pick up your bottle today!

The Kings Ginger Liqueur
In the summer of 1903, King Edward VII could often be found touring the English countryside in his horseless carriage a topless Daimler. At the time, the King had only recently ascended to the throne. His mother, Queen Victoria, reigned over the United Kingdom for over 63 years longer than any British monarch other than the current Queen, and the second longest reign by any female monarch in history. By the time Edward ascended to the throne, he was an ailing 62 years old and his doctor feared the effects that the cold, damp air might have on His Majesty during his morning rides. As a result, his doctor paid a visit to Berry Bros. and Rudd, Britains oldest and most prestigious wine and spirits merchant (it was established in 1698). Together with Berry Bros., the doctor began experimenting with spirits that the King could enjoy while driving in order to keep him warm and stimulated. Ultimately, the Kings doctor and Berry Bros. settled on a recipe for The Kings Ginger."When it first started, it was exclusive to the nobility," says David King, the marketing and strategy director for Berry Bros. Today, the recipe for The Kings Ginger calls for macerated ginger roots and lemon oil, which are distilled together with grains in a pot still. After distillation, the liqueur is topped off with single malt Scotch Whisky in order to balance the flavor of the citrus and ginger. The Kings Ginger Liqueur has a warming aroma of ginger, lemon, and maple syrup. On the tongue, the ginger is more sophisticated than the aroma indicates, and slightly mellower rather than edgy. The ginger slowly gives way to hints of citrus and honey, and returns in a long, lingering finish. The Kings Ginger earned a score of 94 points from Tasting Panel Magazine and a Gold Medal at the Beverage Tasting Institute Competition in 2011. The Whistler Blenders Select Irish Cream
Drogheda is one of the oldest Irish towns where the first written records of whiskey production date back to 1556. The town has a rich history of whiskey distilling and had 18 operating distilleries in 1774. As we know, Irish whiskey was in decline in the 20th century, due to the civil war, trade dispute with the UK, and Prohibition in the US with only a handful distilleries remaining operational, none of those in Drogheda. Boann Distillery joined the resurgence of Irish whiskey in 2019, producing the first spirit in the town in more than 160 years. The company was launched by Patrick "The Whistler" Cooney and his wife Marie with several other family members. Backed by 40 years of experience in the industry, the family has the know-how, skill, and passion to create premium Irish whiskey. On one hand, they honor the rich tradition of Irish whiskey, on the other they take innovative approaches using cutting-edge technology which includes their state-of-the-art brewhouse and unique 3 copper-pot stills that use nanotechnology all with the goal of creating some of the finest whiskey and craft gin.All the ingredients are 100 percent natural, including locally-grown barley from native farmers and water from the Boyne Valley well. The operation is overseen by Michael Walsh. Irelands youngest head distiller has accumulated a vast amount of knowledge during his Chemical Engineering studies and when getting his Certificate in Distilling in 2012, quickly rising through the ranks. They recycle their water and harness the heat that is generated during distillation, which then helps run their packaging lines and heat their restaurant, visitor center, and offices. Distillation byproducts are used as animal feed. The Whistler Blenders Select Irish Cream is a whiskey liqueur the first in the world to feature a single-pot-still Irish whiskey in its blend, combined with fresh Irish cream from grass-fed cows. This results in a depth and delicious richness with the whiskey shining through beautifully. Grab a bottle today!

Wahaka Espadin Mezcal
In the central valleys of Oaxaca, Mexico, Maestro Alberto Morales a fifth-generation jomezcalero is hard at work managing his familys five stills. The village of San Dionisio, which the Morales have called home for nearly 150 years, was founded in 1610 and has sat at the epicenter of mezcal country throughout the spirits existence. Morales, who uses sustainable farming techniques (Wahaka Mezcal is certified organic by the USDA) and traditional production methods, describes his palenque as "a place of respect and harmony, where no arguments or even bad words can be uttered."The Morales take great pride in the craft of mezcal production, and oversee the entire process from harvest to market. After expert jimadors select espadn agave at the peak of ripeness, the Morales roast them in earthen pits, which gives the mezcal its signature, smoky flavor. Wahaka Mezcal Abocado con Gusano
Wahaka mezcal is produced by an indigenous Zapotec family, who has perfected the art of making mezcal through many generations. The owner Alberto Morales is passionate about preserving the ancient traditions, and their mezcal is handmade using simple tools. Wahaka is uncompromising when it comes to its processes. The company has strict standards for sustainable farming, and holds USDA and Mayacert organic certificates. Each Wahaka Espadn is tended up to eight years by Alberto Morales and his team. They also replant wild agave through the not-for-profit Fundacin Agaves Silvestres, so the agaves can be harvested for generations to come. During the harvest, cortadores skillfully carve out the pias, which are immediately placed in earthen pits lined with rock to cook for up to five days. The process turns the starch in the pia to sugar, and adds the delicate taste of smoke. Once the pias are cooked and reach a golden caramel color, they are moved to the mill, which is gently pulled by a horse, crushing them to a pulp ready for fermenting. The fermentation takes place in open air oak vats, and, unlike for other distilled spirits where yeast strains are added, fermentation here happens naturally as a result of yeast in the air around the palenque. The spirit is distilled using copper and clay stills, and each batch is tested by Alberto Morales until impurities have been removed. Located in the rural village of San Dionisio Ocotepec in the second poorest state in Mexico, Oaxaca, Wahaka is committed not only to tradition and sustainable farming, but also to its community. They believe they have the responsibility to improve the lives of those they can. The company pays above market wage, and shares the success by helping to provide free healthcare, delivering toys to kids, and sponsoring the high school basketball team. Wahaka Mezcal Abocado con Gusano is the only aged mezcal in the Wahaka line. The double-distilled spirit is matured for 46 months in re-charred American oak barrels with agave worms, which adds a slightly smoother and delightfully caramel complexion to the premium mezcal. Zaric Nostalgija Quince Brandy
While the family-owned Zari Distillery was founded two decades ago in the year 2000, its history goes further back. The current distillery is built atop the pillars of the historic Povlen distillery, absorbing both the tradition as well as renovating the old buildings of the once-great operation and elevating it to modern new standards. Located in the town of Kosjeri, Serbia, they craft the popular traditional spirit of the Balkans rakija, a brandy that is produced using various different fruits. Combining Serbian tradition and experience with modern production techniques and science, the distillery now produces around 1 million of rakija each year. While rakija arrived in the Balkans with the Turks in the 15th century, it wasnt until the end of the 19th century that the Kosjeri region started producing the spirit using the various types of high-quality fruits that the region is known for. Using modern pot stills, they craft a wide range of brandy from plum, quince, pears, honey, raspberries, cherries, and apricots.Zari Nostalgia is a brandy that is made from quince, a type of pome fruit that is similar to pears. Each liter of the spirit takes around 35 pounds of the fruit to produce. The quince is 100 percent locally-produced and the redistilled brandy spends at least 3 years in oak barrels. Bottled at 80 proof, this premium brandy has no flavor, aroma, or coloring added and has won several awards.Grab your bottle today!
