Argonaut started producing brandy eight decades after Prohibition was repealed. Their distillation method resembles whiskey, distilled with both alembic and coffey stills, aged in ex-bourbon barrels. They utilize Prulho alembic pot stills housed at their McCall Distillery in Sanger (one of the oldest distilleries in California), as well as a Vendome column Coffey still. They blend their product from over 100 aged brandy stocks, ranging from two years to over two decades.
